Amazing matte foundation with beautiful texture
I have oily skin and this is one of the only two foundation that keeps my skin matte without melting on my skin by lunch time (the other one is the mighty double wear). Even the liquid version of power fabric tend to get oily by lunch time, but this one doesn’t! So easy to apply, it leaves a beautiful silky texture without making it look dry or lifeless of cakey, while providing so much coverage - with amazing staying power too. I can’t fault anything about this foundation other than it didn’t have a perfect match to my shade. I’ll continue purchasing this and so happy I found this product!

Lid issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the product a lot and have been using it for a few years, however I noticed that last two purchases… the lid will not shut no matter how hard I tried… it is very disappointing…

Quick and flawless
I’m in love with this product since purchasing. I have pretty large pores and texture on my face and this smooths everything over with full coverage. I don’t even use a primer I just dip my brush in and blend it onto my skin and I’m good to go. There’s no need to set this either (and I’ve combo skin). It’s long lasting with a beautiful matte but not powdery finish. This is definitely going to be my go to travel / summer foundation! PS I got shade 4 and I wear 3.5 in luminous silk and nc 20-25 in Mac or 20 in dior for reference

Decent formula, find alternative way to apply
This is just okay. It’s kind of awkward with the puff that’s provided. It’s a really good applicator, like the Korean cushion ones but this one is actually better because it’s pointed and has a very thick strap. For the design of this compact, though, it either makes a big mess or the balm turns black from the applicator. I’ll try other ways to use it but the point is to use it the way it comes. The actual foundation is a nice formula although not a ton of coverage. It’s great that it’s more of a matte formula because I have a foundation balm just like this that isn’t matte and it is incredibly slippery on the face and it doesn’t dry or stay on my face haha. But this one dries after a bit and does have a semi-matte finish. It’s a beautiful compact, I just need to figure something else out.

Good coverage BUT…
Transfers from cream to liquid nicely if apply correctly. High coverage if it’s your soul purpose, it beats most of liquid foundation. BUT, if you have dry skin or if your skin happy to be not in its best condition, you would find it caky and dry and does not worth the hype. Advice: Try simple step of routine skin care before putting this foundation on. It will go better with skin itself. Anyway, fun to have something different to understand the difference between balm and liquid.
