To be honest, the only reason I don't wear this anymore is because of the scent. My boyfriend thought the patchouli was too much. But, it does work really well. It mattifies and smooths. And I love the way my skin felt when I used it. It lasted a long time, both in terms of wearing it and how long the product itself lasted in the container. My skin felt and looked so smooth! I had a lot of trouble with acne and redness when I was a teenager and that's why the Benefit ladies recommended this product to me at the time, and I'm happy to report it never made me break out. So, if you can handle or rather like the scent, go for it, you will love it!

I love this stuff!
I recently underwent chemotherapy, I looked terrible and my skin was a mess. I purchased this product in the hope that it might protect my skin and blur some of the chemotherapeutic nastiness. It did both and smelled great into the bargain. It felt so good it actually made me smile as I put it on! It also provides a good foundation for powders, blushes and contouring, they really stay put. I don't use the sponge, just my fingers, it keeps it clean and if I wash my hands with a medicated soap before applying it I didn't need to worry about infections, which can cause life- threatening complications if you're on chemotherapy. So kudos to you!

Amazing Skin Balm!
This product is amazing. I have very fair skin that is not prone to breakouts. I rarely have marks or acne, but I do have very large pores on my t-zone as well as shine on my cheeks and forehead, as well as fine lines. This product cures all of this. Dr. Feelgood diminishes the appearance of pores, fine lines, and completely erases shine, all in a smoothing, great-smelling balm. It makes my skin truly soft, supple, firm and matte. I would recommend it as a make-up "softener" for anyone who requires foundation, concealer or cover-up. Just apply it over your foundation, and BAM- instantly your makeup is softer, less apparent, and much much more natural!

Great product for skin that can stay 'nude'
I love the product. The smell, the packaging (as with all benefit products)....But unfortunately, i can't really use it. My skin needs concealer because I'm very prone to acne. I don't like putting it on before using Boing because with the two products on top of each other, it feels like a thick layer on my skin. On days when I don't have a care in the world and I don't use my Boing, I like putting the Doctor to good use. He does make your face feel very soft and it is an enjoyable cream to wear. I have oily skin and i thought Dr Feelgood would be bad for it, but it doesn't really affect it. In summation: great product for nude days.

The primer itself, it's amazing. It smells divine, my skin's never been that smooth before and even though it looks a bit greasy, miraculously mattify your complexion with 2 or 3 pats. However, the way Benefit pulls off this product kind of bugs me. The packaging, though it's gorgeous, isn't very practical and it ruins a very decent primer. You have to apply it with a sponge, wich gets dirty SO quickly. You always have to place the little sheet that comes inside the pot so carefully otherwise the primer will dry out in the corners and get all crumbly on your face. If you do your makeup routine in a rush every morning, like me, this might not be your ideal primer.

very unique product
I think this is a very cool product. It's a little retro, it even has a retro medicinal scent and I like it! I use it on my neck to and it makes it feel really smooth. I pat it around my eyes (using the thin edge of the sponge) to kind of blur the little lines that are starting to show. I don't need to use much of the product to get the desired effect. If I use the included sponge, I can pat it on very lightly, its easy to apply. The thing I like most about it is that I can use it wherever my foundation (I use mineral makeup) looks too powdery, to make the texture look more natural. And I can use it to mattify my T-zone.

BEST product - velvety finishing balm
Please don't discontinue Mattifying Balm!! I've used it for 10+ years, and it's a miracle finishing product for setting my foundation or tinted moisturizer. I'm 50+ and have dry skin. Mattifying Balm makes my skin look smoother and younger - it's truly a miracle product! As my last makeup step, it gives me a dewy, glowy-but-not-shiny finish, and my makeup lasts all day! Please, please keep selling it - it's especially good for 40+ skin because it minimizes fine lines and doesn't settle into lines or wrinkles (like finishing/setting powders do). It's the fountain of youth in a compact!

Feels Great...
I have combination/oily skin that is also sensitive with red undertones (lucky me, I know...) I wanted to love this product... I just can't! I really like the way it makes my skin feel, but on the days I use it, it seems I get more oily faster. I first tried That Gal, and it also made my skin look gorgeous at first, but a few hours later it was like triple the oil factor of normal. I read the reviews for Dr Feelgood and decided to try it... I just didn't get the results of most of the other reviewers. Its been a few months now, and most days I just pat a little on my "wrinkle" areas to keep them smooth. I so want to use it all over and get the results everyone else does, but it just isn't meant to be.
