Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer - WN 38 Sesame Foundation (30ml)

I've used Clinique foundation for years and when I discovered this product, I thought the combination of a concealer and foundation was the perfect solution to my needs. I use very little foundation - mostly around my eyes (lids and under my eyes) to cover dark circles and to the side of my nose to cover a few very light red lines. However after a few months of using this particular product, I seem to have developed an allergy to it. It has started to cause redness which is sore and itchy on my eyelids. I stopped using it recently and went back to my old Clinique foundation and the redness has disappeared. It is also quite a thick formula, so its quite difficult to acquire a light, natural look with this product. Overall, I wouldn't purchase this again and wouldn't recommend it to others.

The feeling of the product is quite nice on your skin with good coverage and doesn't feel too heavy. I personally still need concealer as well under the eyes so don't think it is fully 2in1. Still longing for the airbrush concealer to complement this! The shade matcher however is not so good and the shade I bought is too dark for me. Having picked the correct one it works well and would recommend, however, think it is not an amazing stand out product like much from Clinique.

I love this foundation! It is so so so good. It is easily buildable to achieve whatever coverage you like, it lasts all day (obviously with a primer and appropriate skin care prep and set with powder), it does not oxidise, it feels light weight to me, and it is one of my holy grail foundations! I highly highly recommend as this product is great, and I actually cannot understand how anyone could have anything bed to say about this foundations

I needed new foundation as I was using cheaper products I'd buy out of error/in a rush without looking in to if they were good or reading reviews etc. Admittedly, I also bought this without reading reviews but had used some Clinique makeup products in the past and had been impressed - especially the easy eyeliner. I told the assistant that I was looking for something full coverage so she recommended this product as it was both concealer & foundation. I have fairly oily skin but was pleased to find out after using it, it didn't give off a shine throughout the day in comparison to other brands I'd been using previously and also has genuinely improved my skin, including my pores. It looks as though the product has been tightening my pores without changing anything else in my daily skincare routine. I really would 100% recommend this product as I feel like I've found a real winner!

I was recommended the Flax shade in store which I was told wasn't a perfect match and is paler than my usual shade but apparently it doesn't come in an exact match to the foundation I was using. This foundation is ok- but not outstanding. It covers but doesn't give any radiance, so it looks a bit too opaque. I now use the Even Better Clinical Foundation which I love!

Ive not had the chance to use this foundation because of the wrong shade. I used the shade matching tool on the website, however the shade I've received is too dark. I've been really excited to try this and the unfortunately, it's been a huge let down. I would just like an exchange without going through the hassle of a return.

I really like most Clinique products, but this concealer disappointed me a lot. It goes cakey, not smooth and looks like i just put some cheap foundation on from the market. I don't live close to any shops where i could get a sample from Clinique counter, so it was a waste of money for me. Very disappointed.

I usually purchase the even better foundation, however I thought I would try this one which appeared to give greater coverage. Since using it my skin has been awful, constant breakouts. The colour is also doesn't match my skintone. The bottle is not great as leaks.
