Habit Rouge - a review
Having bought one of the other perfums in the past, I already knew that this would be a strong purchase and worth the money. A little goes a long was with this and I would not suggest over spraying as the smell stays with you throughout the day. I would suggest trying a sample first as its quite a particular smell and may not be for everyone, but the product and company is tried and tested, and I would recommend their products.

not for me
the EDP version smells very refined, well done in the Guerlain way. However, the scent profile just doesn't speak to me, as far as my taste and likes in fragrances go. This has too much powder than to my liking. Also not as deep and dense as I would have liked it to be. In comparison, the newest release, which is the Parfum version, to me is better, deeper, denser, boozier, and never powdery at all.

Average Fragrance
This is my first Guerlain fragrance sorry to say I am not very impressed. It’s expensive for what it’s to offer. Some of the other easy available designer fragrances are much better than this one. I hate to return thing specifically by mail only for that reason I am going to keep and are wear just when I am home it’s not worth wearing going out in my opinion 4/10 fragrance for me.

My favorite scent
Have been using Habit Rouge since the mid 1970's. It's my favorite scent and I always receive compliments on it. Once I was checking into a hotel in NYC and the lady checking me in said "Oh, you're wearing Habit Rouge. It was the first time someone knew the scent.

Pleasant!
Though, I wanted the Habit Rouge (Hennessy), this eau de parfum has a very pleasant smell of vanilla--sort of powdery, but not overwhelming or necessarily feminine. I like it, but the thought of anything inspired by Hennessy just piqued my interest.

First time On line Purchase
Gentlemen in my family have been using Guerlain fragrances since the early 1900's in Cuba, and now in the U.S.. I myself have been using "Imperial" and "H.R." for years. Decided to buy direct due to untrustworthy sources elsewhere. Merci

Quality at a price!
A favourite of my husband’s so bought this as a Christmas gift. I was a little shocked at the large increase in the cost of Guerlain products, so they have become a special treat. However, my husband and I love Guerlain.

At the beginning the fragrance is a little stronger than the one I have used for many years, therefore moments after you applied, you started feeling the original smell , did you make some changes also in this one?
