Nutritive Bain Satin 1 Shampoo 250ml Shampoo (250ml)

I really like the shampoo but I gave it a 3-star for design of the bottle. The first time I used it, as soon as I squeezed the bottle to put shampoo in my palm the plastic ring at opening came off and a large amount of shampoo went straight to the floor of my shower. I did chat with customer service in case anyone else had this issue. Not sure the person I spoke with seemed to care much. I don't know if this is a flaw in the design or if I just had a defective bottle but it is too expensive to lose that much first time using. I have taken off the plastic ring so I don't lose anymore of this liquid gold. But it is a good shampoo!

the shampoo is very good in that it really leaves my hair soft and shiny . The half end of my hair (it is dry) is moistened and kept clean for up to 4 days. Great feature. That part is beautiful, but! the next day my hair would be so greasy at the scalp and it would look like dirty there while the other half of my hair still clean, shiny and soft. It is an expensive shampoo (I mean it is a very good quality I get that) but I cannot afford to buy it often (the content is no much btw) because now I kind of have to wash my hair almost every day just because of the greasiness on the top and run out of shampoo sooner than expected.

Stylist used this shampoo with the conditioner. Smelled really Good (& I am picky about scents), does not smell like coconut/suntan lotion as most moisturizing Shampoo's do (can't stand that). Needless to say I walked out with the shampoo, conditioner & keratine thermique. I am 45 yrs w/ colored brunette, thick,dry,frizzy hair in the south. I am a habitual returner if I don't like something, however this will be a keeper. Did use Redken ( tried every one of them) but is no match for Kerastase.

I have been blessed to have good hair all my life without many issues (we won't talk about that bad perm I had in the 80"s). Now, in my late 40's, my hair is not longer shiny and bouncy....instead it is dry and lifeless, with lots of static in the winter months. I tried this shampoo (and conditioner) and for the first time in a very long time, my hair feels 'normal', soft and shiny again...and it only took one application to see the difference. I had been trying product after product and wasting lots of money trying to find a product that would actually work. I have long hair with some grey but I still get compliments again from women in their 20's! Who knew?

My hair stylist recommended this shampoo and conditioner combo for me (Bain Satin 1, Lait Vital). Previously I was using mid-tier shampoo and thought that all shampoos and conditioners were about the same. I was totally wrong. My hair feels more healthy and soft with this and has a nice satiny shine. I also have fine hair prone to frizz but easily weighed down with oil/silicone, but this shampoo and its accompanying conditioner keeps it in check without weighing it down. Kerastase costs a lot but it's worth every penny.

I'm officially obsessed with Kerastase products. I have dry textured hair with long layers, and the Bain Satin 1 shampoo and Lait Vital conditioner is amazing at keeping my hair moisturized & healthy without weighing it down. Just wish the products were offered in the pump deluxe sizes (or any pump version). I currently buy several small bottles of the shampoo & conditioner then transfer the products into empty pump bottles of the Bain Satin 2 that I bought, so that it's easier for me to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is very thin and fine and have had problems with breakage and hair coming out and hair lacking in volume. However as soon as I used these products my hair was soft and smooth and felt like it had some life back into it. These products also increased the volume in my hair and left it feeling nourished inside and out. I also found that I didn’t have to wash it as often as it didn’t leave the heavy weighed down feeling or coating on hair that some shamooos seem to.

Really like how this shampoo leaves my hair very clean from the natural oiliness and other products that weigh it down. I used to struggle with my fine, straight, thick hair losing volume basically as soon as it dried, and found out that many shampoos and conditioners were leaving residue behind and weighing it down. This shampoo has been excellent in washing out well and returning some of the natural lightness and volume to my scalp. Turns out quality is important!
