I have sparse eyebrows (chalking it up to getting older) and was excited to try out this brow pen. I have been a faithful Benefits Customer for decades and have been satisfied and happy with their products. When I received the Brow Microfilling Pen, the pen was completely dried out! I contacted Customer Service, provided them with pictures and additional information. The Rep said their Customer Service would contact me with a decision. A decision? That was 2 1/2 half weeks ago. Good Customer Service would have immediately sent out a new pen, so I am a little surprised at their action (or lack thereof).

I was looking forward to trying this as I have been using the precisely my brow pencil for a while and was hoping that this would given a more defined look. Was very disappointed when it hardly showed on my skin. I have light tan skin and very dark brows so chose the deep brown shade. Although it did produce hair like lines when used on the back of my hand (still not as visible as I thought it would be) it was barely noticeable when used on my brows. I had to press very hard and then it became more like a smudge than the lovely defined hair like lines I was hoping for. Not for me and I will be sticking with my trusty precisely my brows pencil.

I'm losing all my hair due to chemo so to say my brows are patchy would be a generous description! I initially chose the wrong colour so donated it to my daughter in law for whom it was perfect. She absolutely loved it so bought me the correct colour which is perfect and what's more I'm getting to grips with the application. It is filling in the horrendous gaps that have developed and looks natural to other people when they first see me. Furthermore it has great staying power, I fell asleep before I could get to my makeup remover - the joys of cancer drugs! - and so my hubby left me to sleep and the next morning my brows were still in great shape!!

I have trichotillomania, which means I have absolutely no eyebrows. I bought this pen to see if it would give me a natural hair look, rather than the usual block of power and stencil combo I use. I am so SO happy with this product, it's very easy to use and to draw the eyebrow shape. The effect of natural hair strokes now makes my eyebrows look more realistic. The pen also lasts all day with minimal fade/smudge, but any fading can easily be topped up throughout the day if necessary. Excellent value for money and for someone who has struggled with her eyebrows for many years this product is a game changer! Will be ordering again.

The application itself is amazing, it makes perfect "hairs," lasts for days on me, even with oilier skin and works better than all the other micro-pens I've tried. My problem is with the lack of shade options and the color being way off. In all other Benefit brow products I'm a 3.5 so I ordered the medium brown but it's way too light and sheer; it also had a reddish tint to it. My natural hair color has a lot of red in it but this color is nowhere close to their usual 3 or 3.5 and far too light for a medium brown. If these shades were the same as their other brow products, they had a wider range of shades, and it wasn't so sheer, it's be my go-to brow product.

In my experience, you have to push rather hard to get the color to come out, resulting in a large swatch of color rather than the advertised 3 lines. I haven't had much luck getting any color to stick without using considerable force, which also just makes it look blocky. Wish I tried it on in the store, but I didn't feel comfortable to do so during a pandemic. I usually like the brow products, but this completely missed the mark, pun intended. Also for some reason the review form won't allow me to click to select certain items, including "I agree with terms and conditions" and "submit review" on multiple web browsers. Use tab and enter to get past this if you have the same issue.

I used the goof proof pencil before, but just wasn't loving it anymore! So I took a chance on this new one and I couldn't be happier! It gives a more natural but fuller brow. I get a lot of compliments of people thinking its just my real brow and not filled it!!! I'm definitely not a makeup kinda girl, but its super easy to use and to correct if you goof up a little! Hands down my favorite brow pen I've ever used!

I like this product, but realized that there is about a centimeter of unused product that you're paying for. For me, this would be an extra week of use. Maybelline sells one similar (Total Temptation) for way less and just as good and you won't feel so bad about extra product you're not getting to use.
