Gorgeous scent, packaged like a work of art
This fragrance is one of the most plush and beautiful I've ever owned ... and I've owned hundreds. There are designers who have their own versions of a woody oud, but this one from Armani has an extra dimension that draws attention and appreciation like no other. The best way I can put it is that it smells as high-end as it is. Now, pricing isn't something I ever bring up about unless I'm talking about fragrances with another collector, but it puts my own mind at ease for having made the purchase. This product is completely, utterly worth it. The bottle and packaging are also quite striking and beautiful.

Catnip for humans!
Scent is subjective, but this smoky lusciousness does awesome things on my skin. My body chemistry tends to turn scents sweet, so I avoid florals. This makes me smell smoky/spicy without getting heavy. It’s very intense, so go light handed with application. Lasts all day. Anything that has people turning around and moving closer while eyes half shut and asking, “What is that incredible thing you’re wearing?” Is a success for me. People’s expressions resemble cats rolling blissfully on catnip.

Geesh! IF ONLY!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is an Armani man and he has been trying to get me in board! I relented when I read the reviews on the Armani Prive Oud! Oh how I loooove sandalwood! ... I anxiously awaited its arrival ! Only to be dissatisfied and disappointed! The smell doesn’t last long at all!!! IF ONLY it could be like the first hour or 2 MAX!!! It would be love in an elegant bottle !!! Sadly for the price point it isn’t worth the effort..,

Disappointed
I bought this perfume in 2013 while I was in Paris. I really loved it and it smells exactly like the Sandalwood when it burns. But the item that I’ve got now has nothing to do with the old Oud Royal. The combination had definitely benn changed and I don’t like it. It smells like those cheap oud perfume and doesn’t last longer.

Best cologne ever
By far the best smelling cologne I've ever had or smelled.. I'm not even a cologne person but my better half got me some Armani and I've gotten a few more since including this one and God... This stuff makes me wanna do stuff to myself 😂

quality changed, scent doesn't last
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this perfume has became my signature scent i wear it all year around at work, spray the wardrobe, use at bedtime. but this bottle i purchased recently seems doesn't last, can't smell it anymore after few hours even when sprayed on fabric
