2022 BOP Hoola Bronzer Face Powder (Hoola Lite)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never liked using bronzer before because it wasn't in a color that would help my skin tone. I was impressed even though it is Light, it did darken or bronze my face up with a slightly more colored appearance than I naturally have. Being pale toned, it's very hard to find items that blend and appear to look beautiful on my skin. This didn't have any sparkle or glow to it and I'm so thankful for that! The package is small enough for me to carry and a sun kissed look anywhere I go. There isn't a strong scent, it's a soft smell powder. It went on smoothly, I did apply it a bit thicker because it blended in so much.

It’s really hard to find something that looks natural and doesn’t look like I’m trying desperately to look sun kissed. And looking desperate isn’t cute under any circumstance! Benefit’s Hoola Light is the perfect solution for my skin tone. It gives me a touch of color and warmth, but it’s matte and super creamy so it blends beautifully and doesn’t give that sunkissed shimmer that simply isn’t believable on me. And it’s also great for really subtle contouring! It makes perfect sense why Hoola is a cult classic and it totally lives up to the hype.

It is very pigmented and you need very little to build and blending it up on the skin. Not an overpowering scent at all and I would prefer some more scent but that is my liking. I love the compact packaging, which makes it perfect for traveling or just putting it in your makeup bag. This was definitely not the bronzer for my skin type. I need something much lighter, because when i tried to use it as a bronzer, I looked quite weird. It might work better for those with medium to tan skin, but for fair skin, I would recommend a lighter bronzer.

It blends well and doesn’t leave patches on the skin. It has a matte finish, and the manufacturer promises 12-hour wear, but on my combination skin, it faded significantly after just a couple of hours. The packaging seemed inconvenient to me. It’s square, probably designed to minimize product waste, but at the cost of comfort and ease of use.
