2022 BOP Java Mocha Blush

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although this looks deep and pigmented in the pan, I could easily apply it lightly or build to a noticeable depth! I used it over a matte, satin and dewier foundations without powdering first and it applied super evenly and smooth. No patchiness! On a hot, humid day, it was only slightly present by 8 hours but I think that's fairly good considering the amount of physical labor I did that day! On a cooler day, without as much sweating or natural oils coming through, I could still see it at 12 hours. I will continue to use it this summer with my deeper tan! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to find that Benefit was releasing a new blush. But this blush is average at best. I found it to be powdery and not very easy to blend. It didn't feel like a luxurious or high-end blush to me. With so much competition and other high end cosmetic brands with formulas that perform and apply beautifully I just felt this blush fell short.I honestly prefer the old box blush formulas to the new one. It just didn't cut it for me and I would not recommend the blush. Even when I watched it on the back of my hand it was patchy and I tried several different brushes and I felt the blush still applied splotchy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blush is a really unique shade- it's a 'rosy mocha' but IMO it pulls a little more red. I think it's a beautiful summer shade that will really flatter my freckles and tan. The packaging is typical Benefit, although a little more compact than the previous and without a blush brush (which is totally fine bc those were awful, sorry ) The formula is really pigmented, so a little goes a long way as you can build it up to your desired intensity. It can appear just a hair patchy when applied directly on skin, but over foundation I didn't notice that issue. I'd recommend it- it's a unique color that you probably don't have in your collection! I will add as well- buy it in store if possible, these blushes are fragile!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So beautiful!!! I've never really found a blush that I absolutely loved and I never understood why I never liked the color on me. I noticed I tended to buy light pinks, peachy ish type colors and they just didn't give me what I was looking for. I took a HUGE leap for me with JAVA because it looked so dark and I thought it'd look ridiculous on me (I have fair-light skin). No, it looks gorgeous. It perfectly warms up my face without being too dark. Blends beautiful and is incredibly long lasting. I'm absolutely obsessed and genuinely impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say that I won't normally buy this shade since it looks really dark and more of a contour shade, but I am happily surprised that I actually love this product and color shade!! I apply it in a "W" form on my face and it gives me the perfect sunkissed look for my olive skin tone. It looks very natural and just perfect for summer! It fades overtime and becomes more subtle. But if you set your face with setting spray, the blush will stay and last longer. I highly recommend for those with medium to olive skin tones.
