High Beam Highlighter

I'm still new to Benefit Cosmetics and high beam was my very first purchase. It does exactly as its supposed to: a spot highlighter! I use it to touch up my makeup as the day goes on and & I love how it "revives" my face. It took me a while to learn how to use it appropriately; just a dab will do. Its been about three months and I still have over half the bottle left, so the price is not as bad as you may think. The main thing that I suggest is that if you have a darker skin tone, it can make your face too sparkly or wierd looking if you "go wild" while applying it. As I mentioned earlier, just a few dabs on your nose, cheekbones, and even your brow bones will do.

I've been using High Beam for years now and just love the warm glow it gives my face. Definitely a must have for a special occasion where you really want to "shine"! I'm not kidding. I receive so many compliments when I dab High Beam on my cheeks. People often ask, "How do get that glow"? I usually tell them it's my secret beauty weapon. I really only share the secret with my closest family and friends, but I guess now the cat's out of the bag! This is truly a staple in my makeup case! Shine on!

I just LOVE High Beam! This gorgeous luminous liquid formula has a smooth and slighty tacky texture that looks amazing in photos, feels light and airy on the skin and gives the skin a subtle luminous natural glow. As a make-up artist, I recommend this creamy luminiser to anyone in search of a liquid highlighter because this works so well. Brides and models love the way their skin looks when wearing High Beam. The brush applicator is easy to use, simply dab the brush along the desired area and pat the product in to the skin with your ring fingers. Winner of various awards, High Beam is certainly a winner in my eyes.

I got a small bottle of this in a Benefit kit I bought from an in-flight duty free shop. I loved it so much that I bought a big bottle and I've been through several since. It's become my must-have make up item as it really brightens up any complexion, whatever your skin tone. Extremely handy when you're tired and your skin looks parched and dull. Apply a good moisturizer and some high beam over your cheeks and brow bones and voila, you are a new woman! I wouldn't recommend mixing this with powder blusher as it may become caked. Apply some posie tint or benetint underneath for some glowing colour that lasts all day.

When I got this, I was a little hesitant about whether it would be a noticeable highlight. But I tried it out and instantly loved it! It gives such a pretty, soft glow when in the light. The only downside is having enough time to put it on. It doesn't take that long, only a minute or two, but if you're in a hurry, this isn't a staple item in your routine, and I certainly don't use this everyday. However, it's fun to put on and looks fabulous. If you're going out to a special event or dinner, this would work great. It's soft enough for every day but looks great when you use it for special occasions, too.

High Beam is my fave beauty product - I use it literally everyday because it makes my skin look amazing. Very glad it hasn't got discontinued! it just got a new bottle/applicator. The new design contains much less, and I liked the old style brush better, but the product itself is still as fantastic as before, and it works wonders on my skin. Makes a massive difference, very impressed with the results, it can be worn anytime of the day, and the overall effect is gorgeous without looking over the top, so no complaints from me. I would happily recommend this to anyone regardless of skin tone.

The product promises us a "radiant glow" doing exactly that. Whether you have the most chisled cheekbones, or beautiful cupids bow is regardless it creates a flawless illusion of gorgoeus glowing skin and excentuates bone structure. Brilliant product, giving you a sexy glow and immediate pick me up. A little goes a long way with this one.

This review is coming from the mini highbeam I got in the 'her name was glowla' and it's an incredible highlighter, but it may not be for you. Make sure you know your skin tone before purchasing!! If you skin tone is more yellow (not only asians have yellowish tones) get moon beam. This will show up on your skin, the lines where it is and isn't and the pink will be too much for you. However, if your skin tone is pink , THEN THIS WILL LOOK BEAUTIFUL on you. Unfortunantly, I am yellow toned, so the mini in the her name was glowla kit (a good kit if you aren't sure) didn't work so well.
