Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips Makeup Remover (125ml)

I have been using this for many years especially for waterproof mascara. As it's expensive i have tried many alternatives from many other brands but always come back to buying/ using this one as it effortlessly removes waterproof mascara without damaging/losing lashes. Yes the push down & twist lid is a little tricky and tough like a medicine bottle, but the product works well . You've got to shake the bottle and then tip onto cotton pad at least 3-4 times, press onto lashes for several seconds before sweeping away. No need to rub.

I bought this make up remover recently but i couldn't try it even once because it is impossible to open even though you follow the instructions on the cap it doesn' t work and i can see from reviews people complaining about this design issue for long time but looks like nothing changed, i wish i saw this reviews before the purchase it is literally waste of money, it is very disappointing. I am not sure the quality of the product as i didnt have a chance to try, due to this bottle design issue i don't recommend this product.

Very disappointed with this product, I've used it about 4 times and now can't get the top off. I press down as it says on top of the lid, then try to unscrew it, to no avail it keeps clicking as you turn it, but doesn't open, not user friendly at all. My husband has tried to open it to. I guess it must be a faulty top? I'd bought it (along with some other items) to take on holiday, but will have to find a replacement. It's also very wasteful as the top is just open, no dispenser in it. Not what I expect from Clinique!

This is a great product, it does exactly what it says and removes all eye make up quickly and easily without irritation, stinging or other side effects caused by some other brands. However, I find the bottle very wasteful, once the lid is removed there's no dosing stopper to control the flow of liquid and I end up with spilling and leakage. This product is too expensive to waste , therefore sadly, I would have to think carefully before purchasing again. Great product let down by its packaging.

I thought I'd try this as I love most of the Clinique range. I took it on holiday but was mortified it had a childproof top. After frantically trying to get the top off I gave it to my husband and he too couldn't get the top off. Fortunately we were staying in a cottage so used a dessert spoon to snap the top off. Needless to say I couldn't bring the bottle home as it would have leaked everywhere. It is a good product but I only used it twice so rather expensive.

I used to love the purple bottle of eye makeup remover and used it forever, but this new bottle is horrible for me. Its a weird watery oil now, which ran down my face and on my lips. It immediately caused me to react and as I have severe reactions to things, it's now left me quite anxious and worried. What to use now? Are any of my other go to's changing (the pink moisture surge already did) and does this mean I constantly must test them?

A thousand times no, I'm sorry Clinique, I absolutely love the majority of your products but this is a colossal no from me. It is way too oily and greasy, most certainly not good for someone with already very oily skin and after using it I had to go over my face with a wet wipe to get rid of the awful greasy feeling this product left me with. I came on here to read reviews and the ones I saw were all raving about this product so I thought, ok, maybe I put too much on, so this morning I did a test on my hand. Firstly with micellar water, the makeup came off nice and easy leaving a clean feel. Secondly with Take the day off and still I was left with a film of grease, I ran my finger over my hand and was left with just pure oil on my finger AND it actually didn't remove the make up as easily as the micellar water did soooo an all round fail I think.

The most effective eyemakeup remover I've ever used! It removes every trace of even waterproof products, without the need for any rubbing and without stinging my eyes. It doesn't get into my eyes and leave a blurry film like some others. It does not leave my eyes red and puffy, as some others have. It really is the best! And it works on lips too - perfect!
