Hydrium Green Tea Aqua Soothing Gel Cream Face Serum (50ml)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super hydrating, lightweight moisturizer that's perfect for oily/combo skin people, especially during the summer. Absorbs super well and fast, not greasy at all, doesn't feel heavy or leave a film/layer sitting on top of skin. Slight jello-y/spongy texture while in the jar but quickly breaks down into a watery consistency once you begin spreading on the face.

I've never had good results from gel type moisturizers, so this one is the first. I have very oily skin, so most moisturizers are not suitable for daytime use for me. This one is absolutely perfect. It actually moisturizes my face and leaves it looking flawless, like I'm wearing BB cream. That mattifying effect that others mentioned in the reviews is what keeps my face from getting oily. COSRX, please, I beg you, never discontinue or change this product. I will forever purchase this from now on. <3

After Mamonde stopped selling to the US, I tried out this product to replace their Rose Water Gel Cream. This product worked fairly similarly for my skin, but for me I needed just the tiniest bit more cream in the gel cream! I have relatively oily skin, but not super oily with proper skincare, so this might be just what you're looking for if you can't keep your oils down. For now I'm going to keep looking for a new holy grail moisturizer, but if I can't find one I can see myself mixing in the smallest bit of a thicker cream into this one.

I have combo skin that leans oily and isn't sensitive, so this is a really good lightweight PM moisturizer for me. Personally, I detest heavy creams that make my face feel greasy in the morning, so this has been great for the muggy summer nights at the end of my PM routine. A little goes a long way! I just tap the flat surface of my fingers onto the gel to spread over my whole face. It feels slick, not really tacky, and it sinks into the skin in under 30 min. I'll probably repurchase next summer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this moisturizer is such a great one to add to your skincare routine. It’s not heavy at all but it hydrates very nicely. You just have to put a small amount on your skin and it instantly helps it to feel cool and tingly in the best way. I can see it helps reduce my redness I occasionally have from rosacea, and I’m thankful for that. I don’t break out as much as I used to, but I think it did an awesome job helping out my acne when I struggled with it for awhile there too.

I have oily acne prone skin that is also very sensitive. I am sensitive to Niacinamide (which seems to be in almost every gel moisturizer out there!), so it's been hard to find a gel moisturizer and I think I have found it! Been using it for 2 weeks, and I am experiencing glowy and supple skin that does not feel oily to touch or get greasy as the day/night progresses. It also feels very soothing and hydrating making it easier to use actives like tretinoin in my skincare routine.

The gel hydration green tea moisturiser is okay for me, my skin tend to turn red if i go out in the morning and my skin feel stuffy like something was on my skin. At first it was fine but after some time my skin feel kind of a bit hot but it was not harmful. My friend who was using the same moisturiser has the same reaction to mine and his other friend also. It make the skin looking red and feel sticky after sometimes, I am not sure what ingredient(s) are causing it. My country is humid, I have a senitive/acne prone/combination skin. My friend have normal skin. So we opt out for a much skin friendly mosituriser: purito oat-in calming gel cream. As purito is more easy to the skin and absorbs better. Hence, my suggestion to cosrx is to come up with a moisturiser that would have similar after use effect as purito
