Diorskin Mineral Nude Matte Face Powder (004)

Very light and airy foundation powder. I never use it on its own, as it seems to be too light and 'non-existing' to me - but it's a perfect fit to set my Dior Backstage foundation. I love the colour of my liquid Backstage foundation on its own - but don't like the 'wet' and slightly sticky finish of any liquid foundation, so a powder over liquid is a must for me. Diorskin Mineral Nude is just what I was searching for: it's truly nude, it doesn't "block" the beautiful shade of my liquid foundation - and yet it gives a "fully set" look to my face, providing very smooth and weightless feel. However, if you are searching for a compact powder that can be used on its own - I wouldn't be going for this one. In this case I would choose Dior Forever Extreme Control compact - it has enough weight and covering power in it to be used without liquid foundation.

I purchased this face powder as I wanted a nice compact to use when going out. I am really pleased with the powder which is very light and not at all cakey. However, I wish the compact contained an applicator. I cannot fit one in and close the compact so I have to carry it seperately which rather spoils the look and is messy to say the least. This is why I have deducted a star.

It doesn’t contain a sponge/brush, so you have to use your one… Powder, itself, lovely and easy to apply. I don’t really use much of make up in the morning, so for me it’s ok, but I prefer ‘Clinique’ as it hides better my broken capillaries on my face. Over all I like it.

It’s good - not great. I found it didn’t cover great, the colour is good however. Texture it’s almost to dry if that makes sense as hardly any went on the brush and I found I had to put a lot of pressure on the powder to loosen it up abit. Not ideal

This is a lovely product it brushes over the face with ease very delicate but there isn’t a lot in it and the casing could be better as it cannot be refilled which I feel we should go back too so there is less waste better for the environment

Have tried many mattifying powders the last few years and i think i found the one. Been using it for months and barely made a dent in it! Lightly dust it off my nose and whoosh shine gone without the powdery finish.

Beautifully packaged. Lovely texture and just the right shade. One star is lost as with my oily skin, I have to reapply later in the day but this is probably not to do with the powder and more my skin

The most incredible powder! It’s so perfect, so upset this has been discontinued as it’s the best powder I’ve ever used, looks so airbrushed and natural on the skin. Please bring this back Dior!
