However, after a month of daily use I am really loving the subtleness of the fragrance as well as the uniqueness of it. The bottle is really beautiful and sturdy. The cap is magnetic which kind of got me in trouble the first few times I used it. You don’t need to add any pressure to the top as that can smash the sprayer a little bit. It makes the sprayer a little chunky, but doesn’t last long. That is a user error but just wanted to out that out so no one else makes the same mistake.

I was happy to receive the new Sauvage fragrance - Sauvage Eau Forte, which is created on a water basis without alcohol. I really like this idea. My husband was happy to try them on himself. The aroma has spicy notes and white lavender, a little musky-woody accords. The perfumes smell refreshing, light and pleasant. They are not very durable, but sometimes this is a plus. My husband does not like when the smell lasts for days. Especially in the summer, in the heat or at sea. The Dior fragrance is a great option for the summer.

This fragance is getting some backlash from Youtubers who open the bottle on camera and quickly say it has zero performance within 5 minutes of the video without any testing due to their preconceived notion that water based fragances don't perform. I will tell you, this fragance performs just like Dior says as a parfum. It has a great fragance to it, a new take on Savauge if you will which is fantastic to have a different flavor Savauge. This is a must try and I'm very happy to have in my collection. It's very masculine, mature, and sexy.

They’re easy to wear and most people find them pleasant smelling. This is where I would place this newest Sauvage flanker. It’s nothing ground breaking scent wise, but it will appeal to the masses and it is a decent fragrance. It isn’t ground breaking. The most unique thing about it is that is was composed with water instead of perfumer’s alcohol, and it has a creamy, white coloring. If I had smelled this without knowing the name, I would not have known that it was in the Sauvage lineup. It does not smell like the other scents in the line to me. This is a fresh, out of the shower type scent. I mostly get the lavender, woody notes, and a big dose of musk.
