This is Dolce & Gabbana The One For Men, in both Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum. Here’s the real difference. The EDT is lighter, fresher, and more playful. It opens brighter, feels airier, and sits closer to a casual, daytime vibe. Easy to wear, very likable — but it fades faster. Think: daytime, warm weather, relaxed confidence. Now the EDP… this one is deeper, warmer, and more controlled. From the first spray, it feels richer and smoother. The amber and spice come through stronger, and it stays on the skin longer with more presence. Not loud — just more serious. Think: evening, date night, low light, quiet confidence. Performance-wise, the EDP clearly lasts longer and leaves a more memorable trail, while the EDT feels softer and disappears sooner. So which one should you choose? If you want something light, easy, and casual — go EDT. If you want something refined, elegant, and long-lasting — go EDP

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve worn this twice now, and while it’s a bit fancier than what I normally reach for day to day, I can appreciate what it’s going for. I usually stick with more affordable, easygoing scents, and this one definitely feels more polished and intentional. The first day I wore it, I sprayed it around 1pm and didn’t mention it to my wife. When she got home around 5, she honestly didn’t notice it at all. The second time, I sprayed it while she was nearby and she immediately liked it-warm, smooth, and slightly spicy with an amber/tobacco feel. That confirmed for me that this works best up close. It opens fairly strong but settles quickly into a very intimate, close-to-the-skin scent. Around the house it lingered nicely, but once we went out it became pretty subtle unless I smelled my skin directly. I don’t overspray, so that likely plays a role. Overall, it smells great and feels refined-ideal for date nights or situations where you want something understated rather than loud. I just wish the projection and longevity were a bit stronger.

So when I got this Dolce & Gabbana The One for Men Parfum from influenster for my honest review I was instantly excited. The notes are spicy with familiar smells of amber and vanilla. It lasts well and you can tell that it a a higher end scent! As it dries down the vanilla notes really start to pop out and overall the scent mellows some. I like this scent for a night out. I wore it out to a cocktail bar for a drink with friends and everyone thought I smelled great! I can also see myself going to a club or concert with this scent but probably a bit too strong for something I’d wear everyday. It’s a great scent and happy to add it to my collection!

This is actually a very nice, pleasant, and not overly loud fragrance. It's a little spice and slightly ambery. It's has many scent notes, but the most prominent, to me, is a sweet, almost vanilla note mixed with a touch of black pepper and a lingering note of fresh cut tobacco. What I really like about it is a little goes a long way. A few sprays will basically linger the entire day. It evolves, mellows, and smells sweeter and more enticing the longer you wear it. It is a wonderful masculine fragrance. Trust me, they will ask what you are wearing. Dolce & Gabbana did good with this the one.
