Cinnabar Eau De Parfum 50ml Women Perfume (50ml)

What on earth have you done? I am 59 and have been wearing this perfume since I was 16. At my nephews wedding, when I arrived and he hugged me, he cried and said "you smell like Christmas". My husband said he always knew I was in the room when I had this scent on. Firstly, the rich, distinctive smell has gone and, secondly, it lasts about 15 minutes. I bought from this site, then the shop in case I'd just got a bad lot but no, it's changed. I really am upset by this, such a sad discovery that the smell that evokes such memories for me has now gone.

I bought my first bottle of Cinnabar after trying a sample whilst living in Hong Kong, I was fortunate to be able to afford an ester Lauder fragrance . I loved it and received many compliments on the fragrance and I continued to wear it even when I came home to the UK receiving it as presents. I recently treated myself to a bottle and it is definitely not as potent not as deep a colour and not as long lasting . when I wore it previously it actually used to remove enamel from earrings and it also caused a little rash(it was all worth it)!I remember reading somewhere that it contained a touch of cinnabar and realised why the enamel removal , it is so very sad when costs result in changes , I hope that after seeing all these reviews maybe the format could be reviewed again!

I've been wearing Cinnabar as a signature scent since I was 18 years old, I'm now 55. It used to be so deep and rich and Christmassey but the new formulation has somehow lost its Christmas spice. BUT I have recently discovered that Youth Dew has gained it. Youth Dew to me was always a Granny fragrance but it's changed, it reminds me more of the original Cinnabar from the 90s so I've made the jump across to that and have been buying it instead of Cinnabar. I recommend getting a bottle to see for yourself.

Have always luv'd Cinabar but if you keep your perfumes to long they go off I have a Lady bird perfume compact I have had for years that still smells gorgeous which is very strange because I have atleast 30 other special edition compact perfumes that the perfumes turned black so they're still kept in a dissplay cabinet I'd still recommend them:)

The 80s Version was sexy, sensual, soft and boy did it evoke interest, This new version is not the same perfume at all - this new version is dated overpowering and old fashioned -I'm sorry to sound negative, but its a honest customer review - WHY do you change the formulas we love?? We still pay good money for the product, so why do you want to disappoint your customers by changing what we love???? Perfume is such a personal choice, so If I choose one of your perfumes which are not cheap, why do you change the formula? - This new version should not have been called Cinnabar, as its not the same perfume - the red lid version was a triumph - the new version is a complete disappointment - please remember it takes time and is costly to choose a perfume your customer CHOOSES to keep buying - if you are going to change the formula then rather take it off the market completely or your customers will feel cheated. If you bring back the 80s version of this perfume, you will make huge sales - that's if people still trust in your ability to keep to your formulas the way you originally advertised them.

I used to work for Estee lauder so I know what Cinnabar smells like. This is nothing like the original Cinnabar. Absolutely disgusting. Just wasted my money. Very disappointed.
