Sumptuous Rebel Length + Lift Mascara Mascara

I have been a customer of EstÈe Lauder for over 30 years and have always worn its mascara. The sumptuous knockout was, in my opinion, one of the best masacaras I have ever used. I loved the brush and the way in which it applied the mascara. In its absence I have tried the various mascaras in the range, but don't like the large brushes, so started using sumptuous Rebel. However, I find that it is gooey, clumps my lashes and goes thick very quickly, resulting in me having to replace it more regularly than previously. I think it's time to look at alternatives, which is a shame, but hey that's life.

This is the best and the worst mascara The formulation is brilliant, it doesn't flake or smudge, it makes my lashes look long and glossy. I love it. I also love the super slim brush which enables me to get mascara right to the roots. But it has one HUGE problem - there is no stopper/scraper on the tube, so the brush comes out totally overloaded with product - if you try to use it like this it just glues your lashes together and makes a clumpy mess. You have to wipe most of the product off onto a tissue to make it usable. What a waste. I genuinely believe this could be the best mascara on the market if you could just fix the issue with the packaging.reading the comments it's clear I'm not the only one who thinks this. Please sort it out!

My husband got me this for my birthday I usually get a different EL mascara but fancied trying something different. This sumptuous rebel is one of the worst mascaras I've tried . Very clumpy and way too much comes out on brush . Had to scrape brush on tube several times, and still way too clumpy, will not be buying again.

This is the mascara we've all been waiting for. It looks fantastic and it will not move! Yet it is so easy to remove! I applied this early morning had a day of conferences and meetings, celebration drinks on a hot sunny roof bar, got caught in a heavy rain shower travelling home and after missing my train I got home so late that, shame on me, I fell face down on my bed to sleep without taking my makeup off. Woke the next morning to find this mascara was exactly where I'd applied it the previous day! This was also when Covid meant we had to wear masks inside so moisture rising from you mouth went straight in your eyes and ruined most eye makeup. It did not smudge, flake, run or migrate from my lashes in any way and still felt comfortable. Warm water washed it away completely. I found it easy to apply and the slim wand got to all the lashes without accidents. I didn't find it clumpy or oozy, so maybe a little practice is needed for those who find it hard to apply. Can't understand why anyone would give it less than 5 stars. If it's ever discontinued I'll start a petition to reinstate it!

Really frames my eyes beautifully, curls the lashes upwards and they look so much nicer than when I buy alternatives from the high street. Only downside is it doesn't last long for the price.

Please, please, please get Sumptuous Knockout OUT of retirement. Listen to your loyal customers.
