[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice fragrance however a little on the heavier side with a hint of wood & spice. My first thought 💭 was “oh this is not an everyday scent” well at least not for me. Maybe Datenight or for a special occasion. I did not fall in love with this scent immediately like I did the floral but I’m not saying I would not purchase this scent. As the day goes on the becomes more subtle & less intense. I am happy this was just a sample size I would hate for an entire bottle to sit for only special occasions, I select a fragrance based on my mood and during a busy week will stick with one scent. Reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel a dark mysterious recognizable scent. Classy fragrance with heavy top notes! Definitely worth a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d hoped for more. I expected something very sultry, sexy, deep, potent. It was only VERY slightly one, maybe two, of those descriptors. I kept notes over the last week plus, jotting what came to mind when I first sniffed out of the sample vi and when I wore it. I like your take my time with fragrances, as there are several factors that can determine not only your perception, but how it wears on your skin. This would have been a scent I would normally gravitate to, I think, just based on the first sniff, which I described as “gender neutral”, and because of certain notes I detected. I sniffed and slightly sampled and had high hopes for wear. Sadly, the first time I wore it out of the house, I wrote, “Slightly sexy”, along with some other positive remarks, however, I could no longer really detect the scent in any meaningful way as soon as I reached my destination. “Bummer”, I thought. Later that night, I noted that the performance was VERY short, underwhelming, and that I received zero comments or compliments. It has no sillage, but makes for a “just ok” skin scent, if that’s your thing. Albeit a nice scent, it’s not remarkable, nor unique. It underperforms to put it lightly. You can check my notes (if you can make out what I wrote) for more details, but bottom line: you can find far better and likely for far less. It DOES smell good, but don’t expect to turn heads. Meh. Might be good for someone who really doesn’t dig fragrance, but is trying to please someone who does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has an insanely strong, long lasting scent… however, it starts out extremely peppery. Like you have your nose in a jar of peppercorns. After a few hours of wear, it does seem to go down a bit & is more of an extremely warm, spice-y scent. To me, it’s very overpowering even with a small amount used. If you like the strong peppery, spice-y scents, this would be a good choice since it is super long lasting. It just wasn’t right for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get my two samples from GUCCI! I am such a big fan of GUCCI & I love these! The “Love at your Darkest” is a very nice scent. I love the “darky” tones in it. It actually could be a unisex parfume. It’s gender neutral, which I really like. You don’t need much for it to go a long way.
