[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I get my hair colored at the salon (balayage) regularly and my hair dresser always uses a toner afterwards to ensure my hair doesn't get yellow or brassy. However, the toner washes out after a few washes so I depend on purple shampoo to keep my hair looking salon fresh until my next appointment. The Kerestase Blond Absolu Bain Ultra-Violet Purple Shampoo does not disappoint. I use it every time I wash my hair (which is about twice a week) and the color always looks like it did when I walked out of the salon. My hair is never yellow, never brassy and my hair is exposed to a chlorinated pool multiple times a week. I am very happy with this shampoo and I highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised that this shampoo didn't dry my hair and actually helped make it softer and more moisturized after using it. I have used this a few times now and it seems to help keep my blonde from turning brassy as i had recently gotten it done before the first use so it wasn't too brassy to begin with. That is why I took off one star, simply because I'm not sure how much it actually helps in reversing the brassiness. But it is definitely helping in keeping my blonde looking fresh. I will continue using this and hope it will continue keeping my blonde looking great.

Let me start by saying that I had just dyed my hair after receiving this product. It was a little brassy toned. I used this purple shampoo and instantly after using saw a difference to my hair. No more orange tones. You don't have to leave it on for very long either. I highly recommend this product for blondes who are trying to maintain their cool toned hair color.

I wanted to freshen up a recent color job so I tried this Kerastase Bain, and was interested in the Hylauronic Acid. The first use didn't change my color much, I left the shampoo in for 5 mins and washed it a second time. Photos shown naturally dried, and then styled. After washing it again, I still didn't notice much toning. Also the shampoo stained my finger nails. Overall, the shampoo is nice and doesn't dry your hair out too much but I don't notice any results. I was going to try mask but don't think I will now.

I didn’t expect to get this beautiful purple tone. I thought it was too much because I’m going on 67 but my daughter in law loves and said that it looks great - that it’s not too wild. At work I have gotten so many compliments which I’m not used to but it’s are welcomed.

I have highlighted hair and didn't use any since my last appointment 2 months ago. My hair was very brassy specially next to my roots. After using this shampoo from one time right a way beautiful soft look, all yellow tones gone and hello to my beautiful blond hair. I like that you can't overdo it , it has just right amount of purple that give you this beautiful look. The scent is so luxurious and my hair feels like I just left salon.

My hair is so luminous and shiny after using this product. When I use it in conjunction with the conditioning mask, my hair is super soft and my blonde curls defined.

Definitely have not had to touch up my hair in a while and every time I wash it with the shampoo and do a blowout it looks like I got my hair done professionally. Definitely takes a lot of the brassy tones out. I still have some but I am a newer blonde. So still working on getting to that level. So I was impressed with the lift that this had. It also smells good and it lathers very well. So it was easy to get in there and let it sit for a little while. Did not leave my hair feeling crispy and dry either. I definitely recommend this product.
