'Elixir Ultime Original Hair Oil Refill Hair Oil (75ml)

Have been using the precious oil elixir product and loved it. Non-greasy and my hair was super shiny after it. So when it got upgraded to this one, I was like ok, there was nothing wrong with the previous version. I liked the bottle cause it was lightweight so easy to pack when traveling. Ordered the new one and sorry but I don’t love it and will not buy it again. The bottle is heavy and clunky, the refill part comes out of you twist it out of place a little bit. And the oil itself, something has changed cause it leaves my hair greasy and oily after I put it on. Really disappointed. Bring back the old version please.

I have been using this hair oil for years... it was the best product on the market. I would have given it 10 stars if I could but the new formula is awful. It makes my freshly washed hair look like I have put vegetable oil in it and is instantly greasy and heavy AND the frizz is still there! Please Please Please bring back the old formula. I don't care about the packaging, the fragrance or the price. Why would you change perfection?

I used to love the old formula. I bought it because it smelled really nice. The new formula has no scent at all. I don’t think it’s as good for my hair, either. I am not going to buy this product anymore.

I’m so disappointed I chose this from the hype online. But it didn’t absorb well, felt heavy and dirty and greasy, my hair looked like I’d run car grease through it rather than a hair oil. I have fine curly hair, but I simply can’t use this for day to day, not even to finish the bottle to get my money’s worth. I think I’ll use it as a leave in for a few hours before hair wash day but otherwise it’s a disappointing purchase. (The new oil this is, but I’ve heard great reviews of the old formula though)

I am a bit disappointed with this new formula the price and the packaging. This is a product I have been using for around 5 years and I have really loved. My last bottle in the OG packaging lasted a while, it ran out, and recently for my bday I treated myself to a new bottle. First thing I noticed is the bottle design is.. not good. The old bottle was also refillable but you decided to put some clanky plastic in glass and make it feel cheap. Then not only has the price risen, but the amount of product is much less. And why does it leave my hair smelling like fried chips the next day? It seems like a bit of a joke, to raise the price that much, take away the amount of product and give us a sub par product compared to the original. Tbh I probably wouldnt look into purchasing this again, I feel like you see us customers as clowns.

This hair oil WAS amazing. The consistency was perfect, the fragrance was pleasant and it left my hair soft and moisturised. The formula has changed, become more expensive by a LARGE sum and the quantity is smaller. I adore various other kerastase products but the new elixir and its package is a huge miss. Some other people definitely agree that the old formula and packaging was much more convenient + effective.

This formula is no longer the same. I have been using this oil for 10yrs plus and will not be buying it again until the original returns and the packaging. Not only is the packaging a let down; the product is oily and does not have the same quality. My hair is a (coloured blonde) it does not get oily but now does from this and the smell is horrible.
