The scent is elegant, soft, and just makes me feel put together even on busy mom days. 💐 I’m definitely grabbing the full size next time I’m at the mall — it’s that good! 😍Cute packaging especially for sample size! It was long lasting. Could be a universal smell for day and night very versatile!

A sophisticated yet heavy rose fragrance.Long-last

The rose is wrapped in green fig leaves, adding a slightly earthy and natural depth. As the scent unfolds, wildflowers and soft herbal notes start to emerge, creating a delicate countryside impression. It’s a sophisticated, classic, and feminine fragrance — elegant rather than playful. However, on my skin, it feels a bit too dense and insistent. The sandalwood base adds warmth, but also a faint salty undertone that reminds me of brine or pickled cucumbers. The longevity is impressive — it lasts about 6–7 hours on my skin, gradually fading into a soft, comforting trail of rose and wild grasses. While I appreciate its composition and craftsmanship, this is not a scent I would personally wear or recommend to my friends — it’s refined, but not entirely “me.”

Light floral scent.

Smells Heavenly

Gorgeous long-lasting scent — worth the splurge, j
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful, Long-Lasting Scent but Not the Cleanest Ingredients…This fragrance smells absolutely amazing — rich, bold, and elegant with just one spray. The scent lasts all day, so a little goes a long way, making it feel luxurious and worth the splurge. I think it’s a versatile scent that can be used for everyday or date nights. I thought it was going to be a bit more soft flowery, but it leans towards the robust stronger side. I did take off one star because the ingredients aren’t as clean or natural as I prefer since I try to stay as non-toxic as possible. Still, if I’m going to splurge on a perfume, this is one I’d happily reach for!

Musky rose, long-lasting, didn't match me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was kind of disappointed in this scent from Lancome, unfortunately. I have their Idole scents and love them, and was hoping this perfume touted as a 'musky rose' would be similar to those that I already own. This scent just didn't match me, day or night, fancy or casual. It's a dark, musky, rose scent that reminds me of a hotel lobby. It was fresh, but just too musky for me. It was also long-lasting, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars for longevity. But I just couldn't see wearing this at any capacity. Not for me and my natural body chemistry.

Long Lasting and Smells amazing!

Forbidden rose feels elegant and warm and not overpowering! I've had multiple people stop me and ask what am I wearing! It's fresh, floral, and warm all at once! This is definitely a staple piece for your collection! It is very pricey but I feel it's worth it!

Buying a bigger bottle. Love it!

I got to try the sample size bottle. It smells elegant and feminine, and I always get compliments when I wear it.
