Dark Leather shower gel made a fab pamper prezzie
I bought this for my husband’s birthday which is today. He loves it and had a pamper session ready for his birthday I gave this to by husband this morning as part of his birthday haul. He loved it and had a nice pamper session, emerging smelling heavenly and ready for his cake and present family session. It was beautifully packed with a personalised ticket and a lovely freeby to try. The quality and fragrance was as good as ever. Wifey’s winning!

My favourite shower gel.
My favourite. Lovely fragrance and not as expensive initially thought as it is very economical and lasts a long time. My only drip is that when nearing the end the gel tends to drip down the outside. To overcome this I open a new bottle and once the top couple of inches have been used I then pour the remains of the unfinished bottle into the new to top it up again and that solves the problem for me.

Turns your bathroom to sauna
I love the aroma! To me it is unisex. It turns my bathroom to a spa full of smell of hot cedar barrels or hot sauna in winter country home. I bought it first as a samle and never thought I would like it as I mostly love feminine sweet perfumes and gels (Ylang-ylang, Rose and Rhubarb are among my favourites). I think it is great for winter, it is a very comforting scent after a long cold day.

Intoxicating
There is the most glorious fragrance in this excellent quality shower gel. I love the rich, warm woody & spicy scent, & my skin feels soft & smells divine after I’ve used it. You can tell the quality because it never leaves my skin feeling stripped or dry. If you’re considering buying this, don’t consider any more - just go for it. I’m sure that you’ll soon be as hooked on it as I am.

The most wonderful, luxurious bath gel
The thing I love about Molton Brown is that no matter how bad a mood I am in the luxurious smell of Molton Brown bath gels cheers me up. The calming fragrance of Heavenly Gingerlilly, the energising Black Pepper but especially the masculine heady smell of Dark Leather evokes a sense of calm and relaxation. Better than meditation and highly recommended to recenter and balance yourself.

Unordinary scent, little too smokey for me
I like fragrances that are somewhat unordinary. This ticks that box. The leather scent is very present, that’s a good thing. But there’s this smell of smoke/ash which I don’t like. A bit like sniffing up a used ashtray. Or the smokey scent of whiskey. Not something I associate with being fresh and clean. I have some other fragrances from MB, this one is my least favourite.

Breakfast in a bottle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To indulge in Dark Leather showering each morning, delivers a personal boost. I love the texture of the foamy liquid and its incredible, efficient low-volume used. I look forward to this, each and every day. I refer it as part of my early morning foundation, as important as breakfast itself. I just hope and wish that the Dark Leather body spray will be developed

Disappointed but not discouraged
Have loved Molton Brown for decades. Re Charge and Tobacco Absolute are phenomenal but I fear the shower gel I bought yesterday is faulty. It unbelievably smells like an ashtray, that’s the only way I can describe the scent. I got clementine & vetiver and it was fantastic so 3 out of ;isn’t bad. Still a great company with great products.
