Luna Rossa Ocean Men Perfume (50ml)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this would make a great little surprise for my husband. Let me tell you, I’m the one that got the surprise. Luna Rossa smells DEVINE! No more lime scented man around here! Luna Rossa has a minty undertone that are complimented by a nice lavender scent. I have already told the hubs that if he decides he doesn’t want it, iiiiii know someone who does 😉 I would totally wear this warm aroma! Just a small spray is all you need, so I really think it’s a great value for the money. I also recommended to the hubs that I think this is one of the most versatile scents he has because it’s definitely elegant, but not above being an everyday scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Review courtesy of my husband who tested this cologne: I own several bottles of Prada cologne and upon receiving this I was surprised by how distinctly “Prada” this new cologne is. At first I was mildly disappointed by this but on my second wearing of Prada Ocean I was pleasantly surprised. The spray pattern of this bottle is aggressive and I would recommend spraying this at a distance of 6 to 8 inches away from your body. If you don't, the scent doesn’t transform from how it smells out of the bottle to a “worn” scent. This has a more sultry, evening to night scent than my other Prada colognes and it has a subtle spice and warmth to it. The first time I wore it this wasn’t present and the scent was very energetic to me. I think the bottle needed to be primed with a few sprays to really atomize the cologne better. This is a cologne that clings to clothing and that can be good or bad depending on the person. Expect it to linger if you or someone else grabs yesterday's shirt, I like that myself being territorial ;-). Prada Ocean has a fragrance that I like and I think it also delivers a mature fragrance that can be appreciated by others who prefer to smell “pleasant” more so than smelling “scented”. I can see myself choosing this for both formal and casual outings with mixed company or private affairs. Its fragrance is weighty but not overpowering so I suggest not going to town with the first application. 1 to 2 sprays works wonderfully.
