foundation brush Foundation & Powder Brush

I've been using Real Techniques for a while now and absolutely adore the brushes that I own, however I bought this brush yesterday and when I went to use it this morning I brushed it over my face once and the bristles immediately fell out. I haven't washed it prior to usage at all, it was my first time using the brush. I've had the same problem with the stippling brush but that was because like everyone else, I used a brush cleaner and it caused the bristles to shed. I'm just curious to see if anyone else had the same issue, I have a feeling I just got a dodgy brush but I'm just interested to hear other peoples opinions.

I have tried many, many foundation brushes in my 44 years ( . And Real Techniques brushes are the real deal. Reasonable pricse, concidering the ressesion here, they are not only preety but really work. I want to get a double of each I cannot believe how many people have complimented my on my skin and my make up in general, ( no mean feat at my age,.) I always tell them that my brushes do the hard work and I pass on who makes them and who makes them and the bonus is that Sam and Nic do easy to follow tutorials. They are a lot of Dublin women clammering to get these range of brushes. Adore, Adore

Very good foundation brush, though it takes a few tries to get used to. Initially, I found my application was streaky and unpleasant looking. I now smear the foundation/BB Cream on my face and then use the brush, instead of applying the foundation directly to the brush. Using this method, I get flawless foundation. Coverage is very heavy, even when using a BB Cream - a little product goes a long way with this brush, it absorbs almost no product. Easy to clean and retains its shape. Had this brush for around a year now, and I still love it.

I totally didn't expect to like this brush. I thought it looked odd and thought "how is a brush like this going to help apply my foundation well?" Well I was completely wrong! This brush does a fantastic job. The firm, but soft bristles really help blend out your foundation making it look effortless. Even though I am totally not into sponges and brushes because I think that after you are done using it, all sorts of bacteria can collect making it dirty to use on your next use, this brush has made disregard this feeling.

I've had this brush for a while and all it does is leave streaks that haven't been blended in properly as the brush is incapable of blending a large area such as a face. It works well with the real techniques beauty blender but it's not needed. I am disappointed as I thought it would be a good product and now I only use it for under eye concealer but I have many brushes for that. The miracle complexion sponge works better on its own. Invest in one of them and you'll never need a foundation brush!!

I've been a big fan of Real Techniques brushes and love how long they last. I have used this brush for probably a year now and haven't had problems with bristles falling out. However, it is hard to clean brush because I feel like the foundation gets sucked towards the base of the brush. I bought the expert face brush and have had better luck with that instead. I think this brush is better suited for concealer or highlight rather than full face liquid.

I bought this brush about 3 months ago & at first I loved it. Now I'm unable to use it. The bristles fall out everywhere (no I haven't over washed it as I haven't washed it once) I am so disappointed especially because of the price paid for this one. The bristles fall out and get all stuck over my face in my foundation, they go all over my Clothes and floor. So disappointed. I would not recommend this brush.
