Miracle Blend + Cleanse Set Makeup Brush Sets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Real Techniques Miracle Blend + Cleanse Set by Real Techniques Cosmetics is a necessity in my makeup kit. It's a three piece cleansing set which includes a sponge, cleansing bar, and zip container. The system allows me to keep my sponges fresh and clean, and extends the life of their use. That's important to me since they have gotten considerably more expensive in the past couple of years. I like the bright orange color of the set which is cheerful. The sponge is easy to hold and use to apply and blend my makeup. It is soft to the touch, yet blends smoothly. The cleansing soap cleans makeup, oil, dirt, etc from the sponge, keeping it fresh. The clear orange tiny tote keeps it all together, so I no longer have an excuse using a filthy sponge.

Embarrassing to say, but I haven’t cleaned it in awhile because I don’t really know how. Enter this Real Techniques Miracle Blend and Cleanse travel set. This adorable 3-piece set comes with an orange carrying case, and orange sponge, and a cleansing bar. The instructions were simple, to rub the bar over the sponge and under water. After a few times of using the soap and rinsing out the makeup, my pink sponge looks almost as good as new. I’m very impressed and will buy this again. This would also make a great gift for anyone who uses makeup sponges.

I wanted to really put it to the test with an old sponge that has been sitting with makeup on it for months in a drawer unused. I’ve washed it before and it still had shadows of makeup left behind. I lathered this cleanser on it for maybe five seconds and then rubbed with my thumb for maybe three seconds? Rinsed it off and squeezed it out to find it BRIGHT BLUE AGAIN. IN LESS THAN TEN SECONDS. My jaw hit the floor. Definitely recommend this for my lazy people who (like me) dread having to wash their sponges/brushes because it normally takes forever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was ok. The versatility and durability were good but what I really liked was the little bag that way I can travel with it and don’t get it dirty with any other type of makeup. The effectiveness with the little soap is good.
