Works great

It doesn’t get as sudsy as I would’ve liked. The smell was ok. Overall, it’s a pretty good cleaner and I think it will last a long time.

Gentle + effective

It cleans makeup brushes and sponges very well, removing all the dirt and makeup easily. The gel is gentle and doesn’t damage the bristles or the sponge material, but it still works great to remove even heavy makeup. It also has a nice, clean scent that isn’t too strong. You only need a small amount, so it lasts a long time. It’s now a must-have in my routine to keep my tools clean and my skin healthy. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good, easy-to-use product to clean their beauty tools!

Not Worth It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this product, as I usually wash my brushes with dawn dish soap. Unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. It smells nice, but the gel comes out fast, and doesn’t lather very well. It is also very hard to rinse out of the brush, I imagine it has some kind of conditioner element to it. It also didn’t seem to cut the makeup as well is dish soap does. The bottle also leaks if it gets tipped over, even when closed. The brushes do seem to come out clean, but it is a bit of a process to get them washed.

Amazing formula! packaging needs some work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makeup brush/sponge wash is amazing! It smells nice and clean and it’s effective. This wash left my makeup brushes softer and prettier than when I first got them. I hadn’t washed my brushes in years (I know, terrible) so I gave each two or more washes. One tiny dot of wash per brush, big or small. After a few washes even my dirtiest brushes looked and smelled amazing. I’m amazed. My only issue with this product is the packaging. It could be my bottle only. However, soap somehow comes out of the bottom of the closed cap no matter how tight I close it. When I squeeze out product, a tiny bit of soap comes out from the bottom of the cap where it shouldn’t. It’s a small manageable amount, but it’s still noticeable. I will store the bottle upright when not using it, and I will repurchase this when I run out.

I was anxious to try this Real Techniques cleaner and it did not disappoint! It only took a very little bit to completely clean my brushes and very large blender. The gel cleanser provided a thorough and quick cleaning. The only thing I didn’t like was the scent, but it certainly didn’t impact the way the product works! Would happily recommend!
