Salicylic Shampoo Shampoo (250ml)

I bought this shampoo as I have really fine greasy hair that needs washing after just one or 2 days. This shampoo did allow me to go longer in between washes however it made my hair feel very stripped and brittle even just shampooing once, all of my waves dropped out and my hair felt quite limp. I had to apply conditioner and hair masks nearer to my scalp and on my even finer baby hairs to stop them from snapping off as it was so stripped which then made my roots very greasy again very quickly. It might feel nicer if you have thicker or stronger hair as it really did cleanse my roots I just couldn't cope with how dry it made my hair feel afterwards so I now only use it very very occasionally when I think my scalp needs a deep cleanse I got on much better with the caffeine shampoo and the curly hair shampoo which I alternate between.

Had scalp folliculitis for 6 years now. Pustules and dry scabby old spots trying to heal . Tried hundreds of different shampoos including medicated prescribed by GP / Dermatologist and most made it worse. I was using a salicylic acid face wash till I found this . I have semi oily scalp but with dry , scabby patches , but my ends are drier. I can't use conditioners but this shampoo leaves my hair soft and shiny. I just use a light serum on the ends.

Disclaimer: I do not have greasy hair so I cannot comment on it's suitability for that. I do however suffer from major eczema/psoriasis itchy scalp which has flared up lately & even my prescription shampoo hasn't been helping enough. I have visited the trichologist for this which is why I was drawn to Salicylic Acid - I was told that this ingredient is why certain shampoos have been soothing & helpful for me. This one has really calmed the itching down loads, there's a long way to go for me to be back to balanced healthy scalp (but I've only used this twice) & I feel that it is really helping. Big bottle & it doesn't smell bad at all (some of the prescription products really stink..). Great value. I feel like this would help a lot of people with dry itchy scalp issues but the 'for greasy hair' thing is probably making them think it isn't suitable for them.

Please ladies do not use this everyday is not meant to be used everyday its a CLARIFYINg shampoo you’re meant to use it once in a while i use it every 4-5 weeks or once a month! This cleanses your scalp from build up so if you use it everyday it will strip your hair! This is an amazing shampoo for the price it dose wonders! It cleans my hair from build up so much and leaves my hair light and shiny!

I've got very sensitive skin and I've been spending a fortune on expensive shampoos for years. This is just as good. My only issue is its a bit thin, so comes out quickly and I'm getting through it faster. Hair very shiny and scalp clear for first time in ages. Would recommend, but just be careful or you can end up with half the bottle on your head!

This shampoo has broken me out so badly to the point that I ended up having spots not only on my face but on my scalp and hair line. I asked for a refund and I was asked to fill in a detailed form. I am not holding my breath that a refund will be issued and the product is now in the bin. I will never buy from this company again!
