Daiya Fude Face Duo Foundation & Powder Brush

I was very excited to receive this brush and I was not disappointed. I have lots of makeup brushes and I could tell right away that this is a high quality brush. And it just fits in my hand perfectly while applying makeup. I use the soft end to tap in eye concealer and dab foundation around my face, then I use the brush end to work the foundation in. I have used this brush lots of times since I got it and it still blends perfectly. I use brush cleaning spray to clean the bristles and I have not seen any fall out of the bristles at all. I wash the rubber end with liquid soap and water and it has been holding up greatly. I feel like this brush absorbs less product that other brushes I've tried, by far, and definitely less product than a sponge. And I love how evenly it distributes my makeup, I even stopped using my sponge blender all together. This foundation brush is a must have for anyone that wants that flawless look. I'm hooked.

This is a brush that provides a beautiful makeup application. However, the tip applicator has detached on one of its sides revealing a plastic coating that now peeps from its side. Not the quality I was expecting from Shiseido, especially in a brush in this price point.

I've always trusted Shiseido and Clé de Peau Beauté products for their quality, but this brush was a letdown. After just a few months of use, it already looks worn out, and to make matters worse, the brush leaves red paint behind. This flaw is frustrating, especially when it transfers onto my hands or makeup tools. While I initially appreciated the sleek design and functionality, the poor durability and the red paint issue make it far from the high standards I expect from Shiseido. Sadly, I cannot recommend this brush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this in the mail yesterday after purchasing it a few days ago after taking it out of the package I was surprised by the size however after holding it in my hand this was the best fit among all the expensive brushes that I own. I had so much control as I applied my makeup and the fibers of the brush feel soft to my skin. My favorite part of the bush in the bottom of the brush because of the silcon that works as if you are using the fingertip to apply your makeup under the eye. It feels really good and I use this part to massage my under eye this morning. In addition, I love this brush and this was a game-changer for me.

I had seen Alexa Chung recommend this brush and I had been wanting a Japanese made makeup brush for a while and this purchase did not disappoint. The brush is the best I have ever used, soft but firm and beautifully puts on powder and blends everything together. I love the gel applicator at the other end and how it mimics your finger for blending around the eye. Absolutely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this two months ago and I love how it has the gel side for the eyes. Good for eye cream and concealer! The brush end is so soft, doesn't shed and the color doesn't run when you wash the brush!

This is a must have make up tool. It is the best foundation brush I have ever used. Foundation application is precise and blending is perfect. Results are natural and flawless.
