[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i use both the regular ultimune and this men's version. However, I have a special inclination to this men's version because of its scent. A very comforting deep manly aroma that softly lingers after i apply it. as always the ultimate is an excellent serum that hydrates and plumps my skin before i apply my moisturizer, which is usually the cle de peau la creme. when it's too hot and humid, then i only use the ultimune without any moisturizer on top, and it keeps my skin well hydrated and moisturized without being sticky and muggy despite the humidity. come winter i plan to layer it with the enmei cream.

The description of this product suggest I should use it after cleansing or after shaving. So I used it after shaving and had I known that my skin would react negatively, I would not used it. I am not aware of being particularly sensitive or allergic to any substances but this product is simply trash, unfortunately. I still have it but will need to throw it out. I do not recommend it.

Tested the old version and the new formula which is new and improved. Absolutely love the formula, very lightweight and non greasy. Pairs well layered with other skincare products. It definitely helped brighten my skin and boost radiance. It's a great anti ageing serum and it's yet gentle on the skin. Definitely worth it
