Man with 3C natural hair- Works great
Perfect hold, strong enough to last and maintain definition but not too overpowering (so you can still go for a more bouncy matte look after scrunching out gel-caste). . . Best to apply when hair is very wet/well hydrated. . . Only scrunch out the crunch once hair is basically 100% dry or you risk ruining the flow and curl pattern of your hair before it has properly set after styling! Would recommend the standard process of diffusing on medium heat until dry. . .

Not the best hair gel.
Unhappy. It holds my curls until overnight where it falls out which hasn’t happened with other gels I’ve used. Also has left residue all over my hair and on my clothes.

Been using for 10 years!
I cannot live without this product. I have naturally long, thick curly hair and I have tried so so many products to tame, define and beautify but the Umberto Giannini scrunching jelly is the best! I use Boots own curl crème just after washing and brushing my hair and then leave it to naturally dry. I then put the scrunching jelly in my hair but avoiding the roots as it seems to dry as white powder in my roots for some reason. I then scrunch and blow dry. This his been my routine for the last 10 years since I found the product! Been using Boots curl creme even longer than that too and it's great. The finished result is always amazing.

This is my 'hero' product!!
I have very fine hair - but a lot of it - with very loose curls, that normally frizz as soon as they're dry, so always ended up straightening my hair. Having tried all the other curl gels and creams, I found this one, and bought the travel size to try it out. I was amazed from the very first time I tried it! I found I only need a small amount (a bit less than a teaspoon) to keep my shoulder length hair in luscious curls all day and into the evening. It even bounces back the following day with a bit of scrunching with damp hands. I absolutely love this product, and can't even remember the last time I straightened my hair now!!

Best product I have ever used!
I have low Porosity Hair so I struggle to find a products that literally gets to the root of my frizzy curly hair. I’ve got a lot of hair but the texture is relatively fine with a 3B curl type. I’ve spent a lot of money trying all kinds of products and they have all failed miserably! This product is excellent though because it defines, moisturises and curls my hair like no other. No stuffiness from the gel cast, which I diffuser dry and then scrunch out. plusnitnis silicon free, smells gorgeous and well priced! Please make some other fab products for curls! Also, please make this gel in 1 litre as I’d love to stock up!!!

Surprisingly Great!
I was nervous to try this as despite it being advertised as non-crunchy, I've tried products like this before and they did the opposite but I was amazed at how my hair felt after using. I use this and the curl oil together. I put about an inch of the jelly with three drops of the oil into my palm, mix together and work through my hair before blow drying with a round brush and it gives me really full hair that is not crunchy or sticky. It's like a volumiser for curly girls! Reasonably priced and vegan, all the Curl Jelly products smell great too. Thank you for making silicone free stylers that work so well!
