Baltic Amber Candle Candle (255gm)

I have been ordering this candle for several years now. I’ve noticed the last couple of years, the fill has decreased. My most recent order was about an inch below the designed glass part. Unsure why this is.. The scent itself is lovely, warm and comforting. Love it—definitely burning in my home year round.

Love everything about this product. Baltic amber is a beautiful home fragrance that pleases everyone’s senses as they walk through the front door. This jar is pretty to display, lit or not, and contributes to our ambiance. It’s the perfect size to keep in your living room or entryway.

Firstly, the packaging on the candle is beautiful and I believe it would be a beautiful addition to the decor in ANY home. Secondly, smelling this candle transports me through space and time to a warm autumn or fall night in Oregon. I imagine the leaves crackling beneath my boots, the sound of the wind restoring the branches and this scent being wafted through the air by the crisp evening breeze. Everything about this scent is timeless, elegant, adventurous and even romantic. The throw on the candle is amazing. I bought it for my room but when my door is opened, it fills the entire upstairs!! I could not be more enthused with this candle!!

I wanted to make a change from Yankee. After reading reviews about Voluspa I was excited to receive my order ~ Baltic Amber being one of those chosen. The candles did not really have a strong scent unlit so I was concerned but still gave them a try. First I tried on our main floor which has an open floor plan/high ceilings and there was absolutely no scent. Then I moved it to the basement which finished with lower ceiling, etc.. -you could smell after an hour or two if you came from one floor to the other but it was very faint . I will say the candle does have a beautiful glass holder and burns clean - too bad the scent was underwhelming.

I absolutely love this scent! It reminds me of every relaxing moment I've encountered, plus it adds sophistication and elegance to my self esteem and I'm empowered by this scent. I light this candle when I'm working from home and it gives me a relaxing boost so I'm able to relax yet focus on my work. I also light it before I take a bubble bath and enjoy a glass of white wine and the scent helps me escape to my me time. I also occasionally light it when I'm in a romantic mood and want to have a pleasurable evening with my husband and it sets the mood perfectly. This is my goto scent that I choose over everything and I highly recommend it.

I received my order fine and everything was well packaged. The candle jars are beautiful, however, I'm not sure if I got duds because I keep reading in other reviews about how strong and fragrant they supposedly are, but I lit one in my bedroom for a few hours and I hardly smell anything. I tried it again in the living room, and my husband couldn't tell that I was even burning a candle because he also said that he wasn't picking up any fragrance. I have a very sensitive nose so I usually pick up on fragrances very easily, but this candle was very weak with little throw and I'm just really disappointed for the price that I paid.

During 2020 and 2021, we’ve all faced hardships. I found myself yearning for the familiar, the normal. I found it in an unexpected place, candles. Voluspa candles are my form of self care. Another day spent in the house, a package arrived. It was my candles, I opened it and popped open my Baltic Amber and the scent immediately took me back to fall of 2019, a house full of friends and laughter, the scent of sandalwood, cedar and vanilla orchid wrapped each conversation with a warmth that made you want to stay in that moment forever. A scent that helps take you back to better days and gives hope to the falls evenings spent with friends and warmth in the future.
