[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time trying Aqua Di Parma Colonia IL Porfumo. This Fragrance is absolutely divine. I love the packaging it is yellow bright, just like the scent. This is a citrus scent and the top notes are italian, bergamont, grapefruit, blood orange and petitgrain. The base is vetiver and patchouli. This is made in Italy. The bottle is gorgeous sophisticated. This could be unisex fragrance but to me it's more on the masculine side. In the beginning, it is very fresh and zesty and then the dry down it definitely tones down, and you smell more of that patchouli. It's definitely strong intense and robust a little goes a long way. This is going make an amazing gift.

Strong at first - mellows to a sweet luxurious ‘cl
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the simple elegant ‘quiet luxury’ packaging. I started out only using 1 spritz - The scent at 1st to me, was a little strong and I did not think I would like it, slightly more ‘classic more masculine musk’ - With strong notes of warm citrus with a gentle hint of bergomant. However as the day went on, it kept mellowing out to a nice subtle, adding a slight sweetness.
I never did smell their first and original scent - and am wondering if what they say is true, that they are supposed to smell similar as it represents all things classic to me. Not having any notes of ‘modern’ fragrances with distinct strong notes of leather or oak or a specific flower.
You do not need more than 1 or 2 sprays - even the next day, I could still smell slightly on my sweater - and was even a little more sweet and enjoyable.
Will be fun to play with this, and maybe layer or see how it smells on my husband!

A versatile perfume

It's a perfume that reminds me of old scents, mixed with a very strong, prominent citrus aroma, and the scent changes until it finally becomes quite pleasant. But it wouldn't be my favorite. It says it's unisex, but I personally found it more masculine than feminine. It can be used at night or during the day in moderation, as it's not very strong, but it has good longevity. The packaging has a vibrant orange cardboard lid and a glass bottle with a spray dispenser.

It smells super clean, fresh, and elegant all at once. The citrus opening is bright and refreshing, like a burst of sunshine with a little spice in the background. Light and powerful

lux expensive and mysterious
