[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free for my honest review from Influenster and Carolina Herrera. I just got the Gold Incense today!! Sprayed it on my wrist, it’s definitely got a mix of a kinds unique musky tobacco (which I’m sure is the Labdanu. a hint of vanilla too. I probably wouldn’t buy this for my personal smell, the notes are very unique. But I LOVE good girl from Carolina. I love vanilla scents, this one is very spicy. The box is a simple red and gold theme. I also thought I was getting the bigger bottle so for anyone wondering this is just a small sample. Thank you Influenster for choosing me!

Not my favorite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scent was described as vanilla, and i can't get any of that profile. The packaging is good, but very small. Was expecting a little bit bigger of a sample. It works great for traveling. Had to scrub multiple times to get it off and even then had to cover it with lotion to get away from the scent.

Gold Incense is a refined ambery fragrance based on a Boswellia Sacra incense accord that merges with Atlas cedarwood and labdanum to create a warm, intense, and fascinating trail. Opening notes of marigold deliver a singular vibrancy, whereas a subtle vanilla caviar from Madagascar underlines the impression of opulence.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love Carolina Herrera Gold Incense, but it just didn’t work for me. The opening is very heavy and almost overwhelming, with a sharp smokiness that feels more harsh than refined. While I expected a warm, rich incense, it leans too strong and cloying, making it hard to wear for more than a short time. The longevity is impressive, but unfortunately that only means I was stuck with a scent I didn’t enjoy for hours. For the price, I expected something more balanced and versatile. If you love bold, overpowering incense fragrances this might suit you, but for me it was just too much.

Divine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fragrance on its own smells divine. The sophistication of it is perfect for events like galas. It is refined. The scent does not over power the body, nor is it shallow. The scent is strong enough to be sensed during a conversation, a quick hug. However, the scent does fade somewhat fast. A little inconvenient for nights out where you have to carry it. It is perfect for dinner. My skin does not react well with notes such as incense. The scent went from sophisticated to smelling as if i showered myself in smoke and cinnamon. It is not compatible with my ph, but it is a beautiful scent.
