This is what I loved the most, it mattifies without looking flat—it still leaves a soft, natural glow. It set my makeup really well and held up through the day, even in my T-zone with just a few touch ups needed in humid, weather. I’ve also used it alone on bare skin, and it gives a nice “blurred filter” effect without the extra shine. Overall, it’s become my go-to powder for a polished but natural finish for when I go out.

Great pressed powder!

I like how it adds the blurring effect to my makeup. My pores are invisible after and the formula feels very lightweight on my skin. My skin is normally dry but this doesn’t cause any patchiness. I got the fair color but next purchase I would pick the luminescent one as I don’t need color added in my makeup tone. The packing is so luxurious with the leather cover and the compact case is so heavy-weighted.

First of all, there is no sponge that would come with the powder, which I personally prefer over a brush. Secondly, the delivery took too long, almost three weeks from ON to BC. I expected a brand like Dior to find a quicker way to deliver a product. And the last thing is that I didn’t receive a promised sample of perfume which is not a deal breaker but it was a little disappointing.

Dior Forever Nude Matte Filter fair
As it was a good review from my respecting Make up artists, I wanted to try it even though the price is high. My skin is between dry or combination depending seasons but this Matte filter didn’t make me disappointed at all. I wore it afternoon as a retouch of my makeup. It didn’t make my skin dry. I like the scent, which is the same as forever series foundations. Needless to say, the case is gorgeous and make me feel good.
