[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an absolutely beautiful scent, one which needs to be appreciated for it's sophisticated and exquisite notes. It's not like your ordinary perfume and is really strong; hence a couple of sprays will take you throughout the day. The bottle is something to admire in itself, elegance at its finest. The floral notes simply smell divine and sensual. My husband has fallen in love with this scent; such a romantic fragrance. Personally I feel as though it's quite a musky and powdery scent; it's certain to draw attention. Such a beautiful scent to gift. It's one to cherish!

I fell in love with this perfume when my mother was given a bottle as a gift. She didn't wear it, as far as I can recall - not her type. I chased it up in my teens, and have never since been without a bottle. It is my absolute favourite of all perfumes I have ever smelled. A perfect balance of woody quiet and soft, sweet spice. Not necessarily for business meetings or work, as it stops people dead in their tracks when they are within reach of it. If you want an absolutely timeless semi-oriental fragrance that changes the atmosphere around you at arm's length, this is it. I will wear this perfume as long as I live.

I first came across this scent at thirteen, when my Mother wore it. It seemed so beautiful, but switching between scents she settled on Shalimar and I on Mitsouko. Fifty years later(!), my mother asked me which scent I wanted for my birthday and from nowhere came the answer; L'Heure Bleu. It must have been waiting somewhere in my neurological nose and I am so glad it did. Nothing is as sophisticated, as powdery, beautiful and as I myself discovered, memorable, as this legendary classic. Please never, ever discontinue this act of miraculously creative perfumery. I love it with all of my heart. I really do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nicely packaged box containing an iconic style Guerlain glass bottle. First impressions were of a vanilla and floral accents with a hint oriental scent present. I found that 1 spray of this scent adequate to give me the amount of fragrance I needed to get me thorough the day - more may be required if you like a heavy fragrance effect. It can be used both day and night as required . A little more floral than I would usually use but nevertheless a pleasant change to my usual perfume .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This perfume is Devine. It is soft and feminine. A few people have asked my what perfume I am wearing while out and about with friends. They really like it too. The scent really lasts well. A small amount goes a long way, and no need to re apply add the day goes on. It loses nothing by way of. scent. I am really happy with this perfume and my partner loves it.

I recently purchased this in EDP and Extract and I have to say it is the most dreamy, sensual and beautiful scent I’ve owned. I don’t ever want to be without it! I’ve used it everyday since and received a ton of compliments and questions about what perfume I’m using. Guerlain please don’t stop making this most iconic, gorgeous perfume.

You ask me to review something which has been my life-long companion as if I had just discovered it! L’Heure Bleu by Guerlain is one of the great classic perfumes created at the beginning of the last century by one of the greatest perfumers. Unlike most perfumes created much more recently, it is completely unique! Guerlain created several great unique classics, Shalimar, Vol de Nuit (which my mother always used), Mitsouko, Liu, Habit Rouge, Vetiver, and several more. These perfumes all create an atmosphere and I recommend anyone not knowing the great perfumes of Guerlain to try them out and see not only which you like but which seems to represent your personality, which you feel at home with. A perfume is very personal, like a lipstick or hair colour or piece of clothing, it has to suit you and not only be a perfume you like. It has to be a scent that when smelt by anyone else whom you know, elsewhere, it will remind them of you! I am told L’Heure Bleu was Queen Elizabeth II’s perfume! It might be yours but try it and see!

I have been wearing l’heure bleue for over 40 years since my teens. Sadly it has changed somewhat in natural ingredients not as powerful even though I still love it. But wish it had remained the sale as many years ago. Pity ,
