[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the moment you spray it, Scandal opens with a bright, juicy hit of citrus—blood orange and grapefruit peek through. Very quickly, though, it dives into the signature honey-gourmand territory: rich, warm, slightly sticky honey layered over softer florals (gardenia is often mentioned) and then settles into a patchouli/woody base. It’s bold. It’s sweet. It isn’t shy. The honey + citrus combo is distinctive. It gives the fragrance character and a “signature feel” It’s fun and bold. If you like gourmand fragrances (sweet, warm, catchy), you’ll likely get a lot of enjoyment from this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Eau de Parfum 30ml and it definitely makes a statement. The opening is bold and sweet, with strong honey and floral notes that hit straight away. After a while it settles into something warmer and more sensual, with patchouli and a creamy sweetness coming through. For me, this is more of an evening or going-out perfume — it feels glamorous, sexy, and attention-grabbing rather than an everyday office scent. The longevity is impressive, I could still smell it hours later, it is strong so a few sprays go a long way. That said, it’s not a “light” fragrance — if you’re not into sweeter, heavier perfumes, it might feel a bit much, especially in the daytime or warmer weather. But if you enjoy bold, sweet florals that turn heads, Scandal EDP delivers exactly that. The packaging feels luxurious, like a suede feel , cute little QR code on the back and when you scan it it goes onto the website - all French but luckily for me I speak French . Overall I’m in love with this gorgeous high end fragrance and will definitely have it on my gift list.

I’ve worn it during the day, but it’s definitely elegant enough for evening wear too. The fragrance lasts all day on my skin and the packaging feels so luxurious. The suede-like box is stunning and the bottle is super cute and compact, ideal for keeping in a handbag. I’ve had so many lovely compliments whenever I wear this one 🩷
