The original non waterproof smoky extravagant was my go to for many many years. I do not like waterproof mascaras as they are more clumpy and often are not really waterproof. This aqua version is much more clumpy and doesn't come close to the original non waterproof version. I have been forced to TRY and find a mascara I like as much as the original and have yet to find one. There are so many of us that want this back. Please listen and consider a relaunch of the original.

PLEASE bring back Aqua Smoky Lash! I wanted to love this, and even after reading all the terrible reviews, I still made the purchase. This waterproof mascara, from the brush to the pigmentation, is not good. I’ve been using Aqua Smoky Lash for years, my go-to fav, with no issues. The tapered brush provides messy application. I’ve been using mascara for over 20 years and have never had such issues with application, having to remove excess mascara from my upper and lower eyelids several times, even with careful application and using the smaller end of the brush. I don’t understand the thick side of the brush, aside from product waste. With multiple coats, it still lacks the blackest black pigmentation I got from the previous version with two coats. This is a let down - please bring back my fav, Makeup Forever!

I am a loyal MUFE fan and have been using the brand in my pro kit for 14 years. I recommend it to everyone I know and will continue to. So I’m so sorry to say this is the first MUFE product in its current formulation which has ever disappointed me. It says a lot about what a great brand MUFE is that this formula is the first time I’ve ever been surprised. But —many things go into making these products and I am confident they’ll fix this glitch. The problem is it’s not waterproof or transfer proof at all. When I put it on models and talent it’s under their eyes before I can blink. I kept trying because I couldn’t believe it and had a time of it on set. Finally I’ve actually tossed it. Love you MUFE, I think I will try and reach out to corporate to let you know about this issue. Not complaining, just feedback. :-)

Unfortunately Makeup Forever discontinued the non-waterproof version of this mascara. I had been using that version for a decade and unfortunately need to find a new mascara. The waterproof version is impossible to remove - I’ve tried multiple brands of removers, I’ll wash my face twice and still not have it removed. Bring back the Smoky Extravaganza that’s not waterproof!

This is my favorite mascara ever. No smudging, truly waterproof, not gooey or clumpy. Unfortunately, they have stopped making the beautiful green, navy & purple shades that were my go-to daily mascaras. Black is too harsh for me, so I can no longer use my favorite mascara.

The original had been my only mascara for at least 10 years. People would ask if I had falsies on, it was that good. Like others, I tried this one when the original went out of stock. It's terrible. Why would you get rid of the original!? Please bring it back!

I have been using this waterproof mascara for years and will not use anything else. I blink a lot and my eyes run but my mascara does not. After trying lots of mascaras with terrible results I finally found this one and will never buy another brand again.
