I've gone completely over the edge with how many Shiseido products I own, but they're just so amazing! This mascara is DEFINITELY water proof. I actually often have issues removing all of it, which is why I gave 4 stars. The brush helps separate lashes and coats evenly and the rich black color adds an almost fake lash effect. I'll be buying again once this runs out. Great for the price.

A Must Try
Finally, a mascara that's not thick & clumpy when applying. Love the tip of the wand with the tiny bristles to get the inner & outer corners. I apply a 2nd coat after a minute or 2 for a bit more dramatic look. Love that this distributes evenly on lashes for a natural look. The case itself is beautiful. Now my favorite mascara.

What's not to love?!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it! It's color is jet black and most importantly it is of a pasty consistency that has stayed that way since I bought it. Another bonus for me is that it mostly washes off easily with my facial oil cleanser and doesn't smudge!

No clumping
I cannot pinpoint anything exact to say how this mascara is different from other brands in the same price range. I've tried many. It does not clump, the brush gives just enough product. It does separate and appear to lengthen.

The best
This mascara is the best, curls your lashes. Holds a curl, lengthens, great volume, definition makes my lashes full it does not flake, or smudge this us my Holly grail worth the money

loved initial feel
I love how this looked and felt when applying. However, it left flaking under the eye after several hours. I was terribly disappointed. I wanted to love this product.

I love this mascara!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month and I love how easily it goes on and with no clumps. Also, I like that it's easy to remove as well. This is my new go-to mascara.

BEST MASCARA!!!
I will never wear fake eyelashes thanks to this mascara. I've had people on the street stop and ask me what mascara I use or if my lashes are fake.
