I received a sample of this product in one of my gazillion beauty box subscriptions and I am going to be tracking this product down right after writing this review so I can buy more! I am a lip balm and lip gloss addict. Reapplying several times a day. This lip balm is quite possibly the best I have ever tried! It lasts much longer than other lip balms. (I have tried so many it would literally take me all day to write up a list of all of the different brands!) It has a lovely scent, isn't overpowering, doesn't make me want to eat it off my lips, works well as a base for gloss or lip stain (or lipstick of course!) and it actually smooths and softens my lips!

[product:by-terry-baume-de-rose] lives up to its reputation - if you can get by the price tag then definitely try this out! It feels so good on, substantial enough to feel that your lips are coated, protected and hydrated (even feeling a little plumped) but not greasy or messy, this stays right where you put it and doesn't bleed over onto nearby skin. It has a subtle rosy smell and lasts for hours- you get your moneys worth with this and once you wear it, you will want to always have it with you. I suspect that my little jar will last quite awhile due to the consistency and staying power, but this is my first time using this product so I am not certain but hoping!

Amazing Product

Smell was off; moisture did not last
I loved that this product came in a glass container. Unfortunately, my package was destroyed upon arrival and everything was soaked, but the product surprisingly was still intact. I was not a big fan of the smell, in fact it made me a bit nauseous and I usually enjoy rose scent. It was very moisturizing, but I felt that did not last long and it ended up making my lips dry. For the price, I do not think this product is worth it. It feels luxurious, so I really wanted it to work, however, ultimately it was not for me. No returns, so I gifted it to my Mother.

Lovely little product in a lovely little box
It is a lovely luxury product with nice rosy scent and delicate rosy colour that won't give you any tint but subtle and soft look on your lips. Definitely moisturising and one of not many products suitable for my very fussy lips. I use it on days when I don't see my partner as he doesn't like the smell but to me it is very nice and warm scent that takes me back to my grandma's garden full of beautiful roses. If you don't like rose scent it is not for you. It is expensive so if you like to invest in lip care like I do it is perfect product for you. Overall it is a beautiful product in a nice, solid yet feminine glass packaging, however a little too pricy but By Terry is a luxury brand so I can't take stars away for the price only.

This product is worth it for me since this product actually works on my lips that can become cracked and peel. (It Doesn't makes my lips more dry in the winter like some products!) The smell is like roses and seems luxurious. It has a slightly thick consistency so it stays on longer than some of the other more slippery lip conditioners. I wear it at night mostly as a final treat before bed but also wear on winter days ( like now) when it is cold and my lips become extra dry. I don't recommend the colored version of this product. I have one in the neutral shade and I never wear it. This original one is better in my opinion. I have ot tried the SPF 15 version yet, almost hesitate to do so because I fear the SPF may cause irritation or not moisturize as well.

This is my favorite lip balm/treatment ever! If I could have it on my lips 24/7 I truly would. I love it's soft rose scent (if you dont like rose or smells in general, this won't be for you). It is so moisturizing and comfortable. It makes my lips so soft and smooth. I put it on every night after I apply my face serums and oils, it's the final step in my nightly beauty routine and it just feels incredible. I love it's frosted glass container and it's pale pink color. Everything about it feels like luxury.

I give this five stars because I have probably 10-15 different lip care products and I come back to this one every night. I would prefer if be a bit less expensive but mine has lasted a long, long time. I apply every night before bed, or on casual days especially in the winter over a neutral lip liner. Some lip products that I apply at night end up smeared around on my face and cause zits, but NOT this one. Plus is smells like roses and my boyfriend tells me how good it smells when I wear it.
