beneficial to have!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to make sure to use this product multiple times to give a good review, the first impression I had was it felt too thick when it initially came out and it didn't set on my face right but after further uses I have fallen in love with it. I think my skin was just too dry my first go with it. When my face isn't dried out it glides on smoothly and feels lightweight but also fills my pores good making them less visible. You don't need a lot to cover your whole face and it's long lasting. I used this on NYE when I got ready for a NYC bar party and it helped my makeup look great, stay on longer and eliminated any shine when I took pictures.

Small but mighty!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised at how thick this product is: imagine the consistency of petroleum jelly. And the full-size tube is seriously small for a product you're supposed to spread all over your face! It does NOT spread well and I needed to use a lot of product to cover my face. This product is better suited for small problem areas, like nose or t-zone, instead of wasting half the tube on your whole face. A definite pro was how surprisingly light this felt (especially considering how thick this product is!). I have an oily, porous t-zone and this water-based primer did seem to cooperate better with my oily areas than any other primers I have tried!

will have to continue to use it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. The couple of time that I have used it I felt like it really wasn't the primer for me I have pretty visibles pore I felt like it did it's job but didn't at the same time. It was lightweight like it claims to be and the scent was not over powering. I have yet to test a long day of makeup as the times I have used it I have only used it for maybe 4 or 5 hours. What I did notice it did help my foundation not cling to my random dry patches. Like I mentioned I cannot wait to continue to use it for longer periods of time to see how my makeup holds up with this as the primer.

Benefit Lite Primer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I initially first tried this primer I did not like it all. It left flaky bits on my face, which really put me off. However despite the flaky bits my makeup did stay on for quite some time and my skin looked nice. After a few more uses, I've grown to like the primer. It keeps my makeup looking nice. Although it does do what is intended, I am not a fan of the consistency of the primer. When applied it feels very drying. I have used other water based products but this product feels way different. I would not purchase this product, but if anyone is looking for a primer I would suggest that they give it a try as it does serve its purpose.

Benefit Porefessional
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this benefit porefessional primer complimentary of Influenster to try out. I wore it alone no foundation, it made my pores look a little better, but it does need work on that. Its like a gel cream formula. It feels really good on skin, melts down completely and feels as you have nothing, i really like that. Color is a little pinkish but goes on clear, feels velvety to the skin, I actually really liked it but feel it need more work on minimizing the pores. I dont have huge pores and felt it did not do that much. Like it because if your not wearing making you can put this on and it helps your face look better, in a natural way.

Not good, not bad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is just a standard silicone-type primer (think smashbox original primer). I have huge pores and oily skin, and I didn't notice any pore filling. The primer is clear and gives you a velvet matte finish, which kind of makes your pores look less noticeable just by the finish. But, like I said, it doesn't actually fill in your pores. This also reacted poorly to several of my foundations (Estee Lauder doublewear, Huda glowish skin tint), but this could just be a formulation incompatibility. Photos attached with double wear for reference. Pores are still super visible and foundation was not staying on my nose where I applied the primer.

Eh... Not the Worst, but Not the Best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest it is dead of winter right now in nyc so my skin is pretty dry as is, when using this product my skin tends to become flakey for some reason. My other more moisturizing primers do not have this affect on my skin right now, but this could be resolved in the warmer months ahead. One other star bump was due to the amount of product I felt like I had to use to really cover my face. It is thicker product and not as smooth gliding as the other Pore primers, but even if I warm it up I still need a good amount to have even coverage on my face. Other than those two issues, I feel like overall it does it's job. Cute packaging and makeup stays put.

Pleasantly surprised
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have acne and acne scars so I wasn't expecting any difference with using this primer. I applied to one side of my face with no other products then put foundation over my entire face. I asked my mom if she noticed any thing about my face, and the side with the primer she said looked smoother and brighter than the other side. That's when I told my mom that I had Benefits pore primer on the side she chose. She asked me for the primer so she could use it, and wants to buy a tube for herself. The primer is thick and dry but applies very smooth and light. I have oily skin as well and my face didn't feel clogged or heavy while wearing it.
