[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally a totally new fragrance from Bottega Veneta. The bottle angular, with deep, massive drop-bottom, round lid, recess in the middle to the atomizer, - class! The scent at the beginning: refreshing, citric, delicious! Then it becomes woody, very light, gentle and cozy tonka beany. I prefer this fragrance to cologne. In midsummer super wearable and as refreshing splash the first 10 minutes refreshing, smug, exhilarating and refreshing and the next 2 hours a soothing, aromatic, maritime, Italian companion. No constant companion or even friend or partner. No, a diversion. Anything else would be illusion!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive my bottle on Friday evening. I started off the following morning trying it and found the fragrance to be a lovely woody, citric scent. It was really fresh and from the get go, I enjoyed it. Have worn it since and find it to be a refreshing choice. The projection is not strong, which is a shame in my mind. I think it would be great if you could smell it throughout the day. When first applied, it is lovely, but fades pretty quickly. In terms of scent, it is a great summer choice. But think it needs to have more longevity on the skin as well as the projection being better. Thanks for letting me review this. Fragrances are a great passion of mine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially I had no heard of the brand Bottega Veneta, so I did not have any expectations of Illusione, so I was quite open minded. Having received the bottle, I did feel under whelmed by the look of it, not much thought has gone into it. After applying illusione, immediately the smell was not over powering and it smelt very good, it isn't a strong woody smell, more a summer fragrance. Unfortunately however the smell did not last that long and within an hour it was very difficult to smell it on my skin anymore. I did hope and expect it to last longer, at least double that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing will you notice when you open the box is a luxury looking bottle with a unique top. I initially tried this on my wrist and left it for a minute or 2 to settle and it's a lovely smell and not over powering. Has a touch of citrus along with a masculine cedar wood. A further few minutes later and you get the full smells coming through. I'd say its smells subtle but luxurious. I did get a few compliments throughout the day when I wore it. I have never come across the brand Bottega Veneta before and it's a brand I'll look out for on my next perfume purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has a fresh citrus opening which is quite a bit too strong might make you or someone sneeze good thing the top notes disappear very quickly. On the dry down which really starts just under half hour is very masculine woody and powdery , this is where I really fell in love with it. I can say it lasts on my skin between 6-10 hours and in my clothes (cotton or wool) about 6hours. It can be overpowering and stuffy if you put too much. Overall I would recommend and also it will be part of my collection. I would also rate it 7 out of 10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been testing this for the last few days on a daily basis both during the day and evenings and I have to say, whilst the scent is pleasant and refreshing, I feel like I already own several fragrances that have similar notes and perform better. The initial top notes of citrus is gone within minutes and dries down to a vetiver heavy note. I would say it's more of a warm summer's evening fragrance aimed at those that like inconspicuous woody scents as I'd rate the sillage at a 4/10 and poor longevity at 4/10 too. I noted the scent was gone after 4-5Hrs on my skin. If you've not smelt this yet, I'd say the opening and mid notes are akin Lush's What Would Love Do and the mid notes to base notes are similar to DSquared's He Wood. All in all, it an inoffensive fragrance to wear but don't expect to be remembered by it.

The fragrance is long lasting and I need only few sprinkles to get the desired effect. I have got so many compliments since I wear Bottega Veneta. I can only recommend. It could be even a perfect gift because it has really decent, noble, masculine bottle style. You never make a mistake with Bottega Veneta Illusion For Him Eau de Toilette.

It has a citrusy fresh smell which is long lasting and doesn’t ware off, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who likes a fresh fruity smell and is great for day wear, I also love like I say the packaging of the aftershave! Definitely would buy myself.
