Great Date Scent
This is a very pleasant, likable everyday kind of scent. It goes on with a fresh, slightly spicy tinge thanks to the ginger but settles into a gentle fruity floral accord with the orange, lavender, and unique earthy maninka most prominent It's moderately sweet, not cloying by any means, and gives off a relaxing, comfortable masculine vibe. I don't detect the leather base note at all, and only a little woodiness, which has more of a vanillic accord. Some people say the maninka smells dusty, but to me, it's more earthy and organic, and it lends the scent a nice warmth. This is an average performer that doesn't offer much projection, so it's best suited for office or date wear. It's wearable year round and straddles the line nicely between interesting and safe.

Today I received my free BOSS The Scent for testing purposes. The bottle and the packaging look luxurious and masculine. I sprayed it on my boyfriend right away. The perfume smells masculine fresh, but not sports shower gel fresh, which is good. This scent is nice for every day, but doesn't smell special or exclusive. I prefer deep, heavy, oriental notes, which I kinda miss in this one. Furthermore, this scent suits my 29-year-old boyfriend, but also my 56-year-old father, which is both weird and versatile. The scent lasts a very long time and doesn't change throughout the day. Not bad, but I'm not crazy about it.

It’s great for everyday
This fragrance is enjoyable. It’s solid for the price. When I first got it I was using it for going out but the more I smelled it I realized I could use it every day. It starts with this sort of boozy citrus scent and once it dries it becomes into this smooth woody citrus scent. A buddy has it and it smells totally different on him. Overall pretty good I just don’t think I’d repurchase as it is a bit more of a mass appealing scent that is a bit easily forgettable.

I still prefer the original caged bottle design
Sweet, spicy… and that ginger punches right through the haze. You get zesty citrus upfront with mandarin and bergamot, but it’s the ginger that grabs your collar and says, “Pay attention.” The heart leans smooth with maninka fruit and lavender, settling into a warm leather finish that lingers. I still prefer the original caged bottle design over the newer one. The cage gave it presence, weight — a little swagger the updated bottle just doesn’t deliver.

Good scent minimal projection good for light situa
Hugo boss the scent is genuinely as it describes a very seductive/date night type of scent coming off very warm sweet and fresh at the same time the toilette version is the little brother of boss the scent absolute witch has more projection than its little brother the notes in the absolute are much more there than in this version if I were to recommend boss the scent to someone it I would say it’s best use would be for office situation or late evening to dinner but like I said don’t expect to much projection from this version if you want an amplified version I recommend the boss scent absolute much richer and seductive more suited for those special occasions I own both and will say there both good but you will get a better experience in the absolute version with longer projection overall if your new to fragrance this would be a perfect bottle to add to your collection

I'm in love with
I'm in love with this cologne. And while it's a little expensive, it's one of the best-smelling fragrances. The leather notes plus the spicier notes makes for a masculine/androgynous sexy scent. It's not an overpowering scent, so I spray it twice before going out, and it lingers all day. The bottle itself is high-quality. People of any gender can pull off this cologne.

Bright and leathery
The Scent from Hugo Boss is a powerful fragrance that definitely packs a punch. When you apply it to your skin, you immediately get hit with a blast of freshness. After that, a nice leathery scent lingers for a while. However, the overal scent doesn't stick around for as long as I would like. Because of this I find myself reapplying more often than I'm used to.
