VERY disappointed
I have been buying MB products for over 25 years. This particular scent has ALWAYS been one of my favorites - until my most recent purchase of it. Did MB change the formulation??? This one has BARELY a detectable scent unless you're right up against it. Used to be that I only needed to used four of the sticks, and this thing would FILL my kitchen. I've now moved the latest one into my smallest bathroom, and I can BARELY smell it. I'm hopeful that they haven't changed to a 'lesser' formulation - in an effort to reduce costs/make more money.

Smells like your grandmother's house
These reeds work just fine--let them soak full of the oil over a day or so and they'll start putting fragrance in the air. The problem is the fragrance itself--cloying and overly floral, and to me doesn't smell at all like the Black Peppercorn I like in the body wash, etc... I actually threw out a full bottle we bought, which was too bad because of the cost. But I couldn't handle the scent or the incipient headache that was approaching. FWIW we have the gingerlilly upstairs and it's divine.

A favorite
Wanted a diffuser for my bedroom with a fragrance that was sophisticated and more on the masculine side but didn’t want it to smell like a men’s deodorant. This scent is perfect and hits all the right notes for me. It has a little mystery to it that makes people stop and ask what it is. It is rich and kind of suave but not too heavy. It has some musk qualities that I love. The diffuser projects quite a bit after 24 hours but is not overpowering. A definite favorite.

Forget those plug-ins
Having first been introduced to Molton Brown products onboard the ultra-luxury cruise line Seabourn, we have been enamored with their products for years. The aroma reeds provide an around-the-clock scent that is pleasing without being overpowering. I give the products as gifts to my clients (I am a travel advisor in the United States). The response is incredible!

Lovely aroma!
I can't say enough about the Black-Peppercorn-Aroma reed diffuser! Once unwrapped and reeds in place, the lovely, intense aroma of black peppercorn is wafted through the room of choice. It's definitely an attention-getter. It's also in an attractive, modern bottle with intense, black reeds. The scent lasts for over a month. A must-have in any sophisticated space.

I take a mental vacation when I enter the room!
Never having heard of this flavor but upon reading it was a best seller I decided to give it a try. I use it in a bedroom of our new home and I immediately am taken on a journey to a part of my past I had long forgotten. They say the "Song Remembers When" but the aroma of my black peppercorn aroma reeds keep me visiting a very good place.

My fav
I have been buying this particular product for years now! We have one in our lounge and one in our bedroom. It's a beautiful smell - woody and not sweet at all. When I want a stronger fragrance, I just flip the aroma reeds around... They last quite a long time too...

Buy These Every Year
This product has such an excellent scent. We use it in our bedroom. My husband also enjoys it because he says it smells both feminine and masculine. And we like that the fragrance isn't too powerful or fake smelling. Wonderful product like all Molton products
