Every blogger everywhere will tell you that you can use aloe vera gel or ultrasound gel etc. etc. for device conductivity. I have tried a number of different lower-cost gels and I am here to say that the Aqua Gel Activator wins hands-down. Don't get me wrong--you'll get your lift using a proper gel from the drugstore--but with the Aqua Gel Activator I get zero skin redness. I can do my treatment and my skin looks fresh and great. With the other gels I have tried, I actually end up with a ruddy color on my face and neck where I've done my glides. The redness lasts about half an hour. I don't know why this is, but I do know that I'll stick with NuFace's gel from now on, even if it is pricey.

The ingredients listed on the box differ significantly from those listed on the bottle, so I have no idea what I'm putting on my face. I've emailed the company but did not get a response. That said, the gel feels the same as the old gel but is way more expensive. I like the new pump bottle, but without the ability to buy refills, it is not environmentally sound.

I purchased a 10 oz bottle of this back in June/July when it launched & I will say that I still have a decent amount left in the bottle at least enough for another 3 maybe even 4 months. I do use my Nuface on a regular basis (at least 4-5x's per week) & this gel lasts longer then their original hydrating gel in my opinion, so it is worth the slightly higher price. I do leave the gel on after lifting if I am just applying sunscreen. I have to remove the gel if I plan on applying any extra serum, moisturizer, or makeup b/c, at least for me, it doesn't allow for good absorption and kinda gunks up on my face. Which that's okay with me removing it when necessary, but that is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. All in all a great product.

Spent a fortune on Nuface + Trinity (complete set) Which gave you a free small bottle of the primer and I purchased the small bottle of primer as well I had the Nuface mini a couple of years ago and the primer was a lot less expensive So far using it as well as the new Nuface + trinity, im not seeing a difference before using However, I did see some other conductive gels that has multiple peptides, hyaluronic acid, paraben free that are much less expensive that I will be trying. Overall product is so expensive, hoping to see some results.

First - I love, love Nu Face. This is not a review about the device, only the mini-sized gel. I ordered the mini for travel and it is not travel-friendly. The round container is bulky, and a terrible shape to try to fit into a quart-sized container. I used to get their other primer that was in travel-friendly packaging but can't seem to find it anymore. Not sure if it is being replaced with this - if so, PLEASE redesign the travel size to actually work for travel.
